As a beauty blogger, I get to try many lip formulas but the lip balm girl is always alive in me all year long. It is one beauty product that I always use no matter the season and I use it quite often over my lips. At the same time, I am very particular about how my lip balms feel on my lips. I like the traditional lip balms with nourishing and plumping formulas as well as a little tint because as a mother of 3 often I don’t get enough time to do a full lip step.
Today, I am sharing some of my favourite lip balms and lip glosses both clear and tinted with you all here. Most of these formulas I’ve used for many years that they’ve been reformulated over the years, and many are new launches. All these not only nourish the lips and add a nice colour but they’re all infused with skincare benefits that help lips look fuller and healthier.
Lip Balm Treatments
Cle de Peau Beaute Lip Glorifier ($65) is one I always carry with me. It only comes in 4 shades but I find the shades are truly beautiful and well-designed to enhance all skin tones. It has a nice rich texture but feels light on the lips and instantly adds moisture and radiance to the lips.
Guerlain KissKiss Bee Glow Lipstick Balm ($54) I love these for their hydrating and soft balm formula. I have 3 shades from the collection and every single colour is beautiful. The formula is thicker than any other balm treatment and probably one of the reasons I love this more as it lasts longer on my dry lips compared to others. Fully reviewed here.
Dior Addict Lip Glow ($54) is one of my all-time favourite lip balms no other lip balm has taken its place. They have been reformulated throughout the years but always have gotten better in their performance. The collection carries a great range of shades to enhance all skin tones. But not to forget if you have super dry lips like me the Dior Lip Sugar Balm is a must-have!!
Givenchy Rose Perfecto Lip Balm ($52) has been one of my formulas for its easy-to-use, hydrating and plumping benefits. It immediately nourishes the lips and makes lips look smoother. It comes in many beautiful shades but my favourite shades are Perfect Pink and Feel Nude (review and swatches here). The packaging is very sweet and can easily fit in any bag.
Bobbie Brown Extra Lip Tint ($48.50) This one is a classic lip balm. It has everything a lip balm should carry (lip balm, gloss & treatment), and the formula is soothing and nourishing. The selection of colours is beautiful and subtle. I only have used the Bare Blackberry which looks daring to wear but it looks beautiful. Giving lips that nice natural berry finish.

Lip Plumber Treatments
U Beauty just introduced their Lip Plasma ($92) in tinted forms. Their formula was one of the best in my opinion as it is easy to apply gives the most beautiful lustrous finish and keeps it hydrating all year long. They added many beautiful shades to their collection (fully review and swatches here) but originally it came in a transparent clear formula. It is a lip balm that carries all the skincare benefits your lips need for the day. The formula helps with wrinkles, and hydration and improves pigmentation. I do agree with their high price tag.
Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Gloss ($54) If I had to pick one lip gloss formula to sear the rest of my life it would be this one. They added new 3 beautiful shades which are gorgeous and perfect for summertime. These glosses add a perfect amount of colour and shine to the lips.
Givenchy Rose Perfecto Tinted Liquid Balm ($53) is one of my most worn lip balm + glosses that I reach out to wear on its own. It has a nice smooth cushiony feel. I love the shade 001 that adapts to natural lip’s pH. It is one of the easy-to-wear lip glosses I’ve tried. There is no heavy scent and no tingle. Reviewed here. They just added two new shades with a shimmery finish that I am excited to try.
Fenty Gloss Bomb Heat Universal Lip Luminizer + Plumper ($35.50) is my favourite plumping lip product. the smoothes lips and adds such a lovely shine and the plumping is visible. My favorite shade is Fussy which is a light pink and I get compliments every time I wear it. Swatches here.
Buxom Full-On Plumping Lip Cream Gloss ($34) is my favourite cream gloss I’ve used. The finish is creamy and shimmer-free to create a fuller lip appearance. It gives a nice smooth finish.
