I have some exciting new launches from Givenchy to share here. Givenchy Beauty just introduced a selection of lip balms along with a new addition to their IRRESISTIBLE fragrance line. Givenchy beauty’s beauty products and their fragrance line been close to my heart. I have tried a good range of their lipsticks as well as complexion products but I have been missing on their lip balms. Here I have the full details:
Rose Perfecto Plumping Lip Balm 24H Hydration
Rose Perfecto Plumping Lip Balm 24H Hydration is skincare-infused lip balms that are formulated with 95% natural origin ingredients that nourish lips. It adds a nice smooth finish to the lips, keeping it plump and a flush of colour with a healthy glow. As many of my readers know me by now I am a lover to the core of lip balms and they take me almost everywhere for my daily looks. These ones are sheer finish but feel good on lips and super chic to carry around. They do wear comfortably on lips with a light tingling feel and adds a nice plump look to the lips.
The collection comes in 9 shades that are quite sheer, I have 4 shades to share with you here.
- Perfect Pink is an original formula with a nice pinky glow. It adapts to the pH of your lips to create a perfect customized colour that would go with your skin tone. It slightly deepens the tones of lips.
- Feel Nude is a cool mauve nude, probably one of my favourite shades in the collection. It gives a nice pink and fresh pink.
- Milky Nude is a soft beige pink nude. I find it is slightly too pale for my skin tone but I managed to wear it well with a lipliner.
- L’Interdit is a sheer classic neutral red that gives that fresh look. Adds a good amount of colour on lips.
Here I have some comparison swatches to some of my favorite high end lip balms. I find they pretty much look and feel the same and it really is the personal preference.

The packaging is on point with soft pink leather and sleek look that is easy to fit in any kind of on the go bag.
Irresistible Eau de Parfum
This is a fruity floral perfume with notes such as Pear, Rose and Blond Wood as well as a base note of Musk. I have had tried and owned the original Very Irresistible a while back which I loved the most but for the past two seasons, I was able to wear the L’INTERDIT addition from the brand that I am hooked.
As a floral fragrance lover, I find this scent is different and I would say I haven’t had sniffed such a nice powdery floral scent with a light woody finish before. It’s radiant, vibrant and a juicy scent that makes you live in the air. The packaging adds cuteness to its finish. It comes in a luminous iconic prismatic structure with a pink ribbon around the metal cap and multifaced square shape.
For me, it’s a scent I can wear almost all the time and I have been sniff it every time I spray it on me. If you’re someone who loved powder floral scents then I would highly recommend going over this scent.
At the end, as a balm lover I was impressed with the finish, feel and performance of these lip balms. Yet the Irresistible is a must have this season.
