New Signature Scent Fueguia 1833 Rose de La Patagonia

I love trying new perfumes and finding new scents that become stables and my latest discovery is the Fueguia 1833 the Rose de La Patagonia. In case you’re not familiar with the brand this is a luxury high-end fragrance brand based in Buenos Aires and founded by Julian Bedel in 2010. The brand carries very classic and pure scents that are quite exquisite. Their team reach out to me and send out samples to my attention (one of their latest launches along with 3 floral scents by request) to try out the brand and find my way into the brand’s fragrances and pick my favourite scent from their collection. Here is what I got to try:

  • Puro is one of the latest from the brand with main notes of Wood & Tabaco. I really wish it would have been something I like but this new launch was out of my zone.
  • Seda was launched in 2020 with floral base notes such as Jasmine Grandinflora + amber. The scent is slightly too heavy and strong for my taste.
  • Muskara Neroli Launched in 2020 with floral base notes such as Neroli + Musk. The scent really got me, I loved it.
  • Rose de La Patagonia was also the latest launch of the brand. And with base notes such as floral + rose, I knew I would love this scent by heart by finding the notes. The fragrance also carries a strong note of oud that is addictive and adds warmth to the scent.

The Rose de La Patagonia ($812) is a strong floral scent but I think it is one of the most beautiful scents I’ve ever discovered in my life. It’s one of the classic rose scents that any lady would love to carry in their vanity and I am very excited to share this scent with you all here. The combination of the notes such as Rose, Oud and Charcao are well put together to create such an exotic and exquisite kind of feel. This scent carries everything I like in my fragrance – floral rose, warmth and the lasting power is impressive. It has an elegant feel to it and it’s a kinda scent that you want to wear on a special occasion, event or date night. If you’re an upcoming bride and looking for a special scent then I would highly recommend this to you or if you’re someone who wants to enter the room with a different scent then this is that scent.

The fragrance is nothing I’ve tried or owned before so definitely, it was a new experience for me. The packaging is just gorgeous, well designed and packed quite in a different way than the usual fragrance. The glass bottle is wrapped in a map of South America and encased in a lovingly carved wood field and placed in a wooden bamboo packaging. Fueguia’s 1833 creations are conceived at Fueguia’s 1833 laboratory, located in Milan, Italy.

I know perfume is a very personal choice but if you’re looking for an elegant floral rose scent with a warm and addicting feel then this is something you need to check. It’s the proper year-round scent, with floral notes for spring and summer seasons, and a woody musk for the colder months. think it is a timeless classic scent that you can make your own signature scent as this has become my signature scent. You can find the Fueguia 1833 Collection currently available in-store & online at Bergdorf Goodmen and Harrods as well as fueguia.com.

New Summer Makeup Essential from Guerlain

Guerlain has a couple of new beauty launches for the summer season that I think are essential to beauty lovers. The just-introduced Terracotta Light Healthy Glow Bronzers ($66) come in 6 shades, KissKiss Bee Glow Lipstick Balm ($50) in 6 new shades for summer and the new addition to the Aqua Allegoria collection Nerolia Vetiver Eau de Toilette ($125). Guerlain has been one of the brands whose products have been a must-have and stables in my makeup & skincare routine for more than 15 years now. Here is a closer look at these new launches.

Terracotta Light Healthy Glow Bronzer

Terracotta Bronzers have been one of my all-time favourite bronzers and I’ve been wanting to try the new Terracotta Light Healthy Glow Bronzer since its launch date. I love multi-tasking products and I always try to reach out to them to create that effortless look. This is a bronzer that gives a complexion that nice healthy glow that has been designed with a blend of different shades and textures like blush, bronzer and highlighter to give you that nice radiant glow with minimal, almost no texture on skin. The powder is formulated with 96 % naturally derived ingredients while it carries that silky, light, easy-to-blend texture. The collection comes in 6 shades to cover all skin tones. It has a light to medium coverage but I love that you can really build this with the different application methods.

The Compact itself comes with a mirror and sleek design that fits into the bag easily. I got to try it in the shade Light which I find gives my complexion that nice sun-kissed glow I like to wear. All I can say is there isn’t anything that I’ve tried before like this.

KissKiss Bee Glow Lipstick Balm

KissKiss Bee Glow Lipstick Balm is now available in new 6 new shades for summertime. I had the pleasure to try this formula last year in their two iconic shades. The KissKiss balms are highly rich formulas I’ve tried by far and are infused with 98% natural origin ingredients where skincare meets makeup. I love how it glides on the lip effortlessly and immediately hydrates and treats dry lips while offering a great pigment that looks like almost lipstick and has a high shine. The formula is infused with Honey, Propolis and Beeswax as well as hyaluronic acid and Shea Butter that soothes, softens, nourishes and plumps the lips. Here is a quick look at the shades I have in my collection.

  • Fuscia Glow (new shade) is a perfect Fusica shade that I like to wear during the summertime (new addiction)
  • Love Bloom is a bright coral red for any time of the year
  • Kiss to Say is a deep and enchanting red that is perfect for the fall season

For the last two years, Guerlain has taken the initiative to save bee lives and protect them. The new KissKiss Bee Glow case was given a golden sheen in 2021 and to make it even more precious the new KissKiss Bee Glow cap displays a delicate engraving of the bee that show the source of inspiration for this new balm.

Aqua Allegoria in Nerolia Vetiver, Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia & Aqua Allegoria Nettare Di Sole

Guerlain just introduced a new addition to their Aqua Allegoria Collection. Just in case you are not familiar with the collection (I haven’t had a chance to fully review this collection), this is a luxury fragrance collection designed to celebrate the wonders of the world. Each creation pays tribute to nature’s beauty and gives you the power to discover exceptional raw ingredients and notes from its origins. The collection is also a powerful symbol of Guerlain’s commitment to the plant, the fragrance line contains up to 95% natural origin. Each scent has its own story from every corner of the world. I love that these scents are layer-able. you can literally pair them with your favourite fragrance to create a signature scent for you or layer them together for that exotic scent.

At the moment I have 3 scents from the collection that I am sharing details with you today.

Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Vetiver Eau de Toilette is the newest addition to the line and with fresh and citrus fruit notes that are infused with notes such as Basil, Fig Accord, and Neroli from the heart of Naples bay Italy. There is a light accent of woody vetiver note into this fragrance that gives this scent a nice warmer feel.

Aqua Allegoria Nettare Di Sole Eau de Toilette Fresh Citrus Floral scent with notes such as Aquatic Notes, Magnolia, Floral Honey Accord that makes this scent sweet. This scent is fresh, floral and sweet at the same time which makes this so unique.

Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia Wildflower Eau de Toilette this one is a nice powdery fresh floral scent that I like to wear with keynotes such as Watermelon, Jasmine, and Wildflower Accord. The notes in this scent are paired so well that makes this scent

Favourite Spring Floral Scent for her & him

Spring finally arrived at our coast and at this time of the year, I get to like anything that relates to florals. I get to find more floral dresses to wear, as well as I like to shift my perfumes to something more floral. I love trying new perfumes and I have a couple of classic scents that always stay in my stash. I have a new scent to share with you today plus my husband’s go-to scent for this spring.

I love to wear floral scents all year long with a hint of notes each season to make them perfect for me depending on my mood. For me, it’s either hit or miss when it comes to fragrances, if I don’t like something on its first try, it never makes it to my vanity. Perfume is something that smells different for everyone and can mix with your body’s chemistry. I love to layer my fragrances so that I get a signature scent.

Givenchy L’Interdit Édition Millésime Nocturnal Jasmine Eau De Parfum

Givenchy L’Interdit Édition Millésime Nocturnal Jasmine Eau De Parfum is a new scent that has been addictive and has that nice rich floral scent yet is warm. Givenchy Fragrances are quite addictive and the lasting power is quite amazing. It has top notes such as Indian Jasmine with a blend of spice and the warmth of apricot, making this fragrance different from others. Givenchy’s L’Interdit Edition Millesime Eau de Parfum (reviewed here) was one of my all-time favourite fragrances last year and probably the most reached one. The new addition is definitely a new favourite for the season.

The new L’Interdit Édition Millésime carries the same iconic packaging with a black label and red signature that makes it different than the other ones. I’ve linked both of my favourites from the line below.

Givenchy Gentleman Eau de Parfum Réserve Privée

Givenchy Gentleman Eau de Parfum Réserve Privée is a nice and warm woody ambery scent with a hint of spicy note. The scent is rich and offers that nice signature scent. This one is the fourth version of this Gentleman cologne that Givenchy has offered. The notes are very well put together and are addictive. Here are some of the notes that I love in this scent.

  • Bergamot
  • Iris
  • Cedarwood

My husband has been loving the older version of Gentleman Eau de Toilette Intense (reviewed here) and has been reaching out mostly since last year. The new scent is much warmer and richer than the Intense formula. The packaging carries the same look but smoked finish glass to present that rich woody scent it offers.

I & my husband both are hooked on these scents and I think we’re going to really enjoy these pleasant warm woody floral scents for this season. What’s your favourite floral scent this year?
