Lancôme | Advanced Génifique Yeux Light-Pearl™ Serum & Hydrogel Melting 360 Eye Mask – Blush Subtil & L’Absolu Mademoiselle Shine Lipstick

Lancôme is one of my favorite brands when it comes to skincare, and makeup products. Although it have been a while since I haven’t browsed into their beauty and skin care products, I still do have couple of must have items from the brand that I always have it in my makeup and skin care drawer. Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover, Génifique Youth Activating Mask and Blush Subtle in shade Rose Fresque is my most favorite products from the brand. There are quite some newness this season and I was super excited to try out these newness and these includes:

  • Advanced Génifique Yeux Light Pearl Hydrogel Melting 360 Eye Mask
  • Advanced Génifique Yeux Light-Pearl™ Serum
  • Blush Subtil
  • L’Absolu Mademoiselle Shine Lipstick

Skincare

Starting up with skin care, I was over the moon to try out the new Advanced Génifique Yeux Light Pearl Hydrogel Melting 360 Eye Mask (C$16 for one) and Advanced Génifique Yeux Light-Pearl™ Serum (C$89 for 30 mL). I have used the Advanced Génifique Serum in the past which I have been super impressed with it as well as I have used up a bunch of their Advanced Génifique Facial Sheet Masks which I absolutely love.

Advanced Génifique line is designed for all skin texture and is a quick fix product for glowing and smooth looking skin. And over time you really see the difference it makes to your overall look of the complexion. Advanced Génifique Yeux Light-Pearl™ Serum  is an eye illuminating serum that smooths out the lines and really brightens the under eye area for more younger looking skin. It immediately looks after the eye bags with its cooling massaging applicator which I absolutely love. But you literally see a nicer and smoother skin within couple of application. I have been testing this serum for the past two weeks now and I have never been so impressed with it. You can use it by itself as well as you can layer it with your favorite eye cream for more hydration. Its perfect for summer time since the product really gets into the skin while for winter layering it with your eye cream looks after every thing you need for your eye area.

Advanced Génifique Yeux Light Pearl Hydrogel Melting 360 Eye Mask come in individually sealed packets. Inside there is a sheet that is filled with advance skin care goodness and shaped to fit the eye area perfectly. They are designed to be placed around the eye area for 10 minutes. This is an eye sheet mask that is a quick fix for hydration, smoothness and plumpness.
You all may know I do suffer from dryness especially under the eye area. And products like this gives life to the area I need to pay attention the most. I personally always carry sheet masks for the days I need an extra boost. Eye sheet masks are pretty much every where and there are quite some amazing ones. I have had tested and been impressed with the Estee lauder’s Advance Night Repair Eye Masks and they have been my favorite to date. But I found the Advanced Génifique Yeux Light Pearl Hydrogel Melting 360 Eye Mask  are a little better version of eye masks for the fact that they are designed to cover the under eye area and top part of the eyes (brow bone).

I felt instant soothing and cooling sensation upon application and I love how they fit well to the skin. I don’t think I’ve ever felt anything this good on my eyes. The sheet itself is quite thick and is filled with so much goodness that you don’t want to take them off. Right now I’m at the stage of my life where I don’t have under eye wrinkles but I feel I need extra attention to the area since see more obvious lines when ever I have sleepless nights.

The main difference for both products for before/after was in the overall look of the skin around the eye area. With the Advanced Génifique Yeux Light-Pearl™ Serum eyes felt well hydrated and significantly less puffier than they do normally in the mornings, and you see a huge results over a period of two weeks in overall texture of the skin. But with the Advanced Génifique Yeux Light Pearl Hydrogel Melting 360 Eye Mask performance is similar to the skin care product in the sense that you can measure the impact of the one product instantly. It’s a good quick fix product that you may need time to time to boost your skin’s look, and still the way the mask felt on my skin blew me away. They’re nicely packaged conveniently to easily slip into the ones on the go purse, and for me a perfect in flight skin care essentials.

Makeup

There are quite some newness from their makeup line as well. Lancôme just introduced couple of new shades to their best-selling Blush Subtil line and L’Absolu Mademoiselle Shine limited edition.

The new Blush Subtil (C$43.00 each) comes in 27 beautiful shades with different finishes to create a healthy and glowing skin look. The texture is ultra fine with a  super silky powder blush fuses with the skin for a nice fresh and natural looking complexion. They come in three different textures or finishes (matte, sparkling and shimmery). They’re quite buildable and layers beautifully.

I received them in two shades and finishes to try:

  • Rose Liberte is a nice rosy pink and comes in matte finish.
  • Make It Pop is a beautiful and perfect coral pink with fine gold shimmers
There is a huge selection of colors with different finishes for all skin tones which I find it incredible. I have been wearing both shades non-stop, but I’m loving the Make It Pop a little more for its fine golden shimmer, It really brings life into your complexion. While the Rose Liberte gives a nice natural looking cheeks. The powders are non drying on skin and with a good lasting power.
Up next is the a new limited edition of L’Absolu Mademoiselle Shine are highly hydrating lipsticks that comes in balmy feel like texture. They come in 14 beautiful shades and with a sheer to medium coverage. They’re formulated with rose oils that you can really pick up the scent during the application. The texture is super shinny and with a good lasting power. These  L’Absolu Mademoiselle Shine does leave a little stain on the lips which creates a more natural flash lip look afterwards. Four shades that I got to try includes:
  • Stands Out is a bright cherry red
  • Plays is a warm beige
  • Shine is a deep cherry red
  • Loves is a nice plum
They’re quite pigmented compare to other balm lipsticks with a good lasting power probably better than your average balm lipstick, it still won’t last as long as regular lipstick. But in general it stayed up pretty much for several hours without fading. The formula is hydrating and really does moisture the lips nicely. They’re easy to wear, effortless and applies flawlessly with a great range of colors. I love the natural sheen these have especially after couple of minutes, and also the fact that once you apply they don’t feel like they’ll slid off. The packaging is quite nice and luxurous looking with super metalic rose gold finish.
You definitely need to browse into the Lancôme counter to discover more about these newly launches. You can find them in all department stores at Lancôme counter and online at Lancôme.ca.
