I’ve long loved the Armani Lip Maestro Formulas in liquid form. They feel quite silky and have great pigment and wear comfortable throughout their wear (reviewed here & here). And right now they just launched the Lip Maestro Satin Lipsticks. The collection comes in 8 gorgeous shades that include very bold reds and pinks for the evening to soft neutral for everyday looks.
The formula is lightweight feels like skin and carries a soft jelly finish. They’re introducing a new technology in this formula that blends two incompatible gels – the colour impact of a lipstick, with the care of lip balm and wear of a liquid. Just the way I like to wear my lipstick, especially during the summertime. I was very excited to find three shades from the brand to discover the collection and here is a closer look at the swatches and finishes:
- Summer Adventure which is a lovely and perfect Pink Nude is my favorite every day wear shade
- Weekend Getaway this one is a nice Beige Nude
- In Love is a bold dark Orange Red
The formula has a solid stain pigment that carries long-lasting power. It wears quite comfortably and the applicator wand applies and distributes the product evenly all over the lips. Compared to the original Lip Maestro formula is much lighter but the stain is much stronger.
