Oribe | Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo + Nourishing Hair Oil, Moisture & Control Deep Treatment Hair Masque & Rough Luxury Soft Molding Wax

Oribe was on my radar for quite some time, I have been hearing a lot about the brand and I was feeling I was missing on their products. When it comes to hair care products Oribe’s name definitely gets mentioned. Being new to the brand I requested some of the products that I felt I use mostly as well as I tried to find my way to the different line and their team was kind enough to sent out all my requested items. Here are my picks:

Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo was something that I really wanted to try, my hair has been prone to breakage especially with the blond highlights from last year and these dry winter months have made it worst. Finding something hydrating so it doesn’t weigh down hair isn’t easy. This Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo has been very nice on my hair, it rinses nicely, adds shine, and on first use, it feels a little rough but slowly my hair adjusted that transition. I don’t use conditioners most of the time and some shampoos don’t perform well without conditioners. I find this one works well without conditioner leaving hair looking healthy. It is designed for all hair types.

Its also formulated with centuries-old healing oils and extracts with the brand’s revolutionary bio-restorative complex to balance the scalp and reinforce the inner strength of each strand. It also claims that it promotes scalp circulations as well as provides UV protection, that’s something hard to find out.

As many of you know I have an obsession with hair oils and was super excited to try out the Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil. I have curly/wavy hair that gets really frizzy and dry and literally I can’t do much to combat frizz. Oils are the only way that I find it works to keep it calm. This Gold Lust Oil has a much richer texture yet lightweight that absorbs instantly. It does help hair to restore its prime and smells amazing.

its formulated with a blend of different and rich oils and extracts such as jasmine, edelweiss flower, lychee, sandalwood, cassis, bergamot, and argan extracts. Being a long-time lover of Maroccan Oil Hair Treatment Oil I feel like I found something I can replace it with.

I personally love to start with oils from my ends and working it towards the roots as well as layering makes a huge difference in distributing the product evenly and not overdoing it. I work with one pump at a time and usually, two pumps are good enough for my thick hair.

I love a good hair mask, that nourishes and makes my curls look more defined as well as to treat the daily heated damage. Moisture & Control Deep Treatment Hair Masque is one of the most amazing hairs masks I have tried by far. It instantly makes hair feel and look nourished.

Its formulated with coconut and almond oils to quench thirsty curls and prevent breakage while repairing the damage. It helps with split ends and further hair breakage. I love to leave in the hair mask for a long time so I apply it to my damp hair before taking shower and leave it for up to 20 minutes but I found with this one especially with curly hair it works best if you leave it after shampoo and at least leave it for 10 minutes.

I knew I wanted to try the Rough Luxury Soft Molding Wax from Oribe since Molding Wax’s are something I use when I style my hair, especially when I do updos. I love that this one is light and non-sticky so it makes it easy to create that super smooth finish on my hair while it slowly holds itself. For me a good molding wax is must-have for days I create sleek look hair styles, it also helps me on controlling frizz.

Bottom line, I’m super impressed with the brand in terms of quality, performance, and presentation. I need to try more from Oribe to have a better idea of their products but for the ones I have already tried these are some of the best I have tried by far. In my haircare routine, these are essentials Shampoo, Hair Mask, Hair Oil, and Molding Wax. You can now find them available at Nordstrom.
