Urban Decay |Wired Pressed Pigment Eyeshadow Palette

Urban Decay just introduced their new Wired Collection. This collection is filled with some fun and bright neon colors for those who loves to play with such bright and beautiful colors. The collection is consist of:

Here is the new Wired Palette ($59.00 for 10 shades) which is a palette with pressed pigments in shockingly bright shades that is designed for face, eyes and body. The formula is quite nice and blendable with different selection of texture in the palette. The packaging is quite nice with a black structured compact that comes with a good size mirror.

Face, Eyes and Body

  • Glitch is a pure white shade in matte finish
  • Chaos is a bright indigo color in satin-matte finish
  • Shock is a nice lilac color in satin-matte
  • Fluorescent is a pale turquoise shade in matte finish
  • Current is a kelly green in fine shimmery finish texture
  • Jolt is a neon lime shade in satin matte finish

Face and Body

  • Gravity is a nice rich purple with fine shimmers
  • Savage is a neon pink in matte
  • Switch is a tangerine color in matte finish
  • Slowburn is a red-orange shade in satin-matte finish

All first six shades are wearable for face and eyes while the last four shades are not designed for eyes. Thy can be worn as blush or dap it on top of your lip gloss for more pigment and it literally transforms your lips with a nice and bright flush of color that is quite beautiful. There is a good range of colors with different tones and pigments for some one who likes to wear colors. The color payoff is quite amazing, eyeshadow primer is must when you really want to see that color pop out. I personally love to use Eyeshadow Primer Potion and Prim It Boost It primers that I find works quite nice and adds lasting powder to the shadows. You can really go creative with this palette and come with many different looks. For me I don’t play around with colors as much but I can see myself wearing the shades as an accent color on my eyes. Some colors like Current, Chaos and Shock are some of the shades I have played before and I can easily wear them while Fluorescent and Jolt are out of my comfort zone.

Over all I love Urban Decay’s shadow formulas in general, they blend very nicely with minimal fall out and a good color payoff. And this palette has a good color pay off especially for this type of bright colors. If you’re some one who plays with colors and is looking for a good color I would highly recommend this palette for the fact that the shades are on trend with beautiful finishes. You can find this palette online at Sephora and Urbandecay.ca.
