Lancôme have been one of my favorite make up brands from many years. I have been a huge fun of their mascaras, eye make-up remover as well as their powder eye brow pencils, just to name a few. These have been my stables from many years and I still love them the most. On that note I must admit that I have never tried their foundations before unfortunately, so I have no clue if this range is newly formulated or how it compares to their other foundations. I was supper excited to try out the whole line of Teint Idole Ultra Wear line from the brand to celebrate their 20th year with these amazing products. I was little disappointed when I found that they’re not a good match to my skin, I wish I could have got a shade lighter or with a natural or yellow under tone. But I tried them all since I really wanted to know it sets on the skin. The package carries the whole Teint Idole Ultra Wear line, these are a range of high coverage foundations and concealers. Some of them are new to the line while there is a one icon foundation. I loved that the whole line carries the same name and number so if know your number in Ultra Wear foundation which is the Icon foundation then you can find your perfect match in the whole line. Today I’m reviewing:

- Teint Idole Ultra Wear Color Corrector
Up first is the Teint Idole Ultra Wear – foundation which is iconic foundation. It’s a Long wear, oil free liquid foundation with up to 24 hours of lasting power. It carries a velvet-matte finish texture and gives skin a nice natural finish yet covers every thing. It offer a medium to full coverage and blends smoothly through out the skin for a flawless and even out skin. It’s light weight and doesn’t crease or slid off the skin. I was amazed on how beautifully it sets on the skin without setting it with any powder. The lasting power is pretty amazing, it lasted on my skin the whole day and it looks like your own skin. I did tried out with different base and brushes to see which way would work better, it works well with tool or technique.
Next is the Teint Idole Ultra Cushion – Foundation is a long-lasting oil free cushion foundation with a flawless and high coverage finish. Cushion foundations have been in my target from a very long time but unfortunately I wasn’t able to get my hands on them. I was very happy to try out this cushion foundation, since many cushion foundations comes in natural finish yet this foundation from Lancôme is full coverage. This cushion foundation is one of the newly formulas that have been added to the Teint Idole line lately. The formula is super creamy and light weight and comes with a velvet finish texture. It delivers a flawless finish to the skin and covers every thing within one swipe. I personally used my tapping technique to get a flawless and full coverage finish. It sets on the skin comfortably and with an easy application. There is no reapplication required but it’s very easy to carry on and re touch on the go for a fresh looking complexion.
Up next is the Teint Idole Ultra Foundation Stick this is a highly pigmented foundation that offer buildable with natural looking matte texture. This is also some thing that I have never tried before and I was concern that it might be too thick. I have used stick concealers from Cle De Peau Beauty and I had a very good experience with those. Formula wise it is one of the best full coverage stick foundation (although I haven’t tried many stick foundations). But it melts into the skin immediately after application. I loved how it carries a very creamy yet light weight texture. It has a slight matte finish but it looks fresh and radiant at the same time. It’s highly concentrated and opaque but it doesn’t make look you fake or flat at all. Lasting power is amazing, it stays input all day without any touch ups. When I used this I found that I did not need to use concealer, I only did some color correcting under the eye area. It blends well, especially with a damp beauty blender.
Last but not least is the Teint Idole Ultra Wear Color Corrector which is a highly pigmented and full coverage corrector concealer with a comfortable wear. The texture is super creamy and feels like skin. These are perfect to hide common skin concerns like redness, dark spots, dullness, acne scars or under eye dark circles. I loved how it blends in beautifully into the skin and gives a natural finish. Since these are highly pigmented, a little goes a long way. I do use corrector concealer all the times but I haven’t tried this highly pigmented yet light weight concealer. It literally erases every thing within one swipe. I personally apply the correctors with my finger tips to really melt the product into the skin.
Bottom line a huge thumbs up to the whole collection. As I mentioned although these foundations were not a perfect match to my skin tone but I love the product and how it sets on the skin. The whole Teint Idole Ultra Wear line is amazing, it really depends on what kind of coverage you would prefer. I personally loved the Teint Idole Ultra Cushion Foundation the most. It was something totally new to me and I loved how it covers every thing and offer a luminous and radiant looking skin.
