Givenchy Beauty have launch the new reformulated Prisme Blushes (C$55.00 each) this spring season. These are a compact powder face blushes that contains two shades and comes in 8 beautiful colors. This spring Givenchy Beauty have reformulated the old Prisme Blushes which contained four shades and came in horizontal packaging to these two-tone blushes and comes in vertical packaging. These blushes form a unique blend that provides a subtle and flawless radiance to different skin colors and complexions. I feel each shades carries a very unique blend of colors that enhances different skin tones.
A look at the whole collection:
They’re highly pigmented yet carries a soft and buildable texture. The powder feels extremely smooth with high quality and performance. Today I’m reviewing:
- Spice 03 – is a combination of light pink and coral colors with a nice shimmery finish. By using each shades you can get two different cheek colors or mix it for a nice subtle pop of color. Perfect for all skin tone complexions.
- Spirit 05 – is a combination of cream-white and coral orange colors with no shimmers but have a nice satiny texture. where you can use the light white cream shade to highlight and coral orange to give cheeks a nice color. Mix it to get a nice warm subtle coral tone blush. Perfect for all skin tone complexion.
- Wild 07 – is a combination of banana shade and chocolate color with matte finish texture. Great for darker skin tone color complexion.
- Tender 08 – is a combination of light coral shade along with lavender color with a nice satiny texture. Perfect for light skin tone color complexion.
At first look I felt, these Prisme Blushes are very expensive and I thought there might be a chance that they would not live up my expectations but after testing these I was very pleased and impressed with their quality and performance. The texture is silky soft and doesn’t feel powdery at all. They add a nice radiance and glow to the cheeks. I definitely loved the two shades concept, where you have more power to customize the intensity and color, whether you want to go stronger or lighter depending on your mood. They come in a great range of colors and textures to play.
The two shades Spice and Spirit would work great on my skin tone, as well as Tender give me a nice subtle glow to the cheeks but I felt it would work better on lighter skin tones, where Wild was some thing didn’t work on my skin tone, rather it would make a nice blush for darker skin tone complexions.
Over all a huge thumbs up to these newly formulated blushes, they add a very luminous finish to the skin and gives enough glow to the skin. These have the perfect mix of colors as well as finish. I loved how they don’t emphasize pores or imperfections on the cheeks. They do stay input from morning to afternoon and fades throughout evening but no sliding at all. There is no powdery feeling at all. Definitely loved the new packaging design compare to the old vertical one since you get a good size mirrored for touch ups while on the go. The New Prisme Blushes are now available at Sephora.
Many thanks to the Givenchy Beauty team for sending the press materials for reviewing purposes.
