La Prairie just introduced a new product to their Platinum Rare Cellular Collection – Platinum Rare Cellular Life-Lotion (C$850 for.3.9 oz. made in Switzerland). This is a new first step pre-serum essence which promotes optimum skin function by enhancing three skin detoxification mechanisms – Protect, Restore, and Energize. This is one of the new steps that can be added to your skincare routine for a more renewed, reset, and detoxified skin ever. Its formulated with Platinum peptide complex which is an anti-wrinkle firming peptide. This complex combined with platinum works more effectively to reduce the look of wrinkles and maintains the skin’s firmness.
It’s designed for all skin texture and age groups, I find the sooner you introduce it to your skincare routine the better results you get overtime since this product really maintains the skin’s firmness and that’s what we’ll seek to keep the firmness of our skin in the best shape.

I have been introduced this pre-serum lotion to my morning routine for the past week as the third step to my skincare routine – right now I’m using the Shiseido’s Ultimune Power Infusing Serum followed by Dior Hydra Life Balancing Hydration 2 in 1 water, and the Platinum Rare Cellular Life-Lotion then I use Vichy Mineral 89 serum along with Platinum Rare Cellular Cream and followed my Decorte 24/7 Eye Cream (the review will be up soon). The texture is super light and carries a gel lotion-like feeling into it, while it gets into the skin immediately. It works like a treatment that promotes skin’s function for rejuvenation. A little goes a long way with this Life-Lotion, just dispense a small about into your palm and gently pat it all over the face. I find the results are very visible within a week, and after regular use skin feels and looks more balanced, firmed and naturally hydrated.
A huge thumbs up! I have been loving it, I feel this is one of the skincare product that I can replace all my skincare with (except my Cellular Swiss UV Protection Veil Sunscreen). I think if I have to replace my essence, serum, and even moisturizer with only one this is a product that I can truly trust. It is one of the most expensive skincare items, but believe it or not, once you get hang of La Prairie you know it’s worth it! I’m definitely feeling blessed to get my hands on such amazing products that I would have never thought I would have found out about them if not blogging.
