Glow Recipe | Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream & Watermelon Glow Lip Pop

New from Glow Recipe is the new Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream and Watermelon Glow Lip Pop. As much as I’m getting to test and try from Glow Recipe the more I get to love their products. There is something with their products that you fell in love with its one application.

Up first is the new Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream ($50.00 for 1.69 oz/ 50 mL) is a soothing and lightweight moisturizer that is formulated with sweet soufflé of banana, magnesium, turmeric, and cica for a more hydrated and even skin texture look. It’s designed for all skin textures while it targets dryness and redness that is caused by dryness. The texture carries a more sticky jelly feel into it and its sets on the skin like a thin protective film layer, yet you definitely need to give it time to get into the skin for a couple of minutes before you layer other products or apply your makeup. Some main ingredients like Banana, Magnesium, and Centella Asiatica works towards restoring skin’s hydration, re-balances irritated and inflamed skin as well as sensitize the skin.

As a skincare junky, I don’t get impressed easily with moisturizers and this one is one of the moisturizers that have really impressed me and for the fact that is clean and with a very affordable price range. It comes in a nice thick glass jar with a bright yellow cap that presents its name. You do need a spatula to take out the product especially overtime when it gets harder to reach for the fact that it carries more of a jelly-like texture.

Up next is the new Watermelon Glow Lip Pop ($29.00 for 0.1 oz/ 3.1 g) is a three in one scrub-to-balm that instantly smooths and hydrates lips with its own universal pop of pink that really takes on your skin’s chemistry. As many of you know by now that I have been a balm lip lover and I wear them on daily basis. Yet this one is one of the best formulas I have come across that does everything I need in my lip balm.

Its formulated with Watermelon extract, coconut, and flower-derived AHA that hydrates soothes, exfoliates, and softens the lips respectively. It really adds up nice plumpness on lips that are super flattering and you really get that fullness that you need with a super jelly-like texture with high-shine. I feel it’s a perfect balm you need to run your errands without chapped and dry lips while it’s a good primer for super soft and smooth finish lips for your matte lipsticks. It carries a transparent texture with a pink flush shade that really works with your own skin’s chemistry, that looks supernatural.

The packaging is quite nice, not high-end like Givenchy or Dior but it’s just as perfect as its formula. It glides nicely over your lips.

Both products are quite amazing and definitely, a must-have item for me. I absolutely love that jelly-like texture that overly protects my complexion while it sinks into the skin after a couple of minutes. While as a lip balm lover I’m super happy I found that perfect formula I was looking for where it hydrates, exfoliates, adds shine, and a flush of color that looks natural and super flattering. You can now find all these newnesses from Glow Recipe instore and online at Sephora.
