Current Beauty Stables + New finds for Spring

As the weather is slowly changing I get excited to find new beauty launches that have arrived and are perfect for spring-to-summer transitional looks and beauty routines. I find these new launches are stables that will take you through the seasons without giving it a second thought. Here I am sharing some of the best new beauty arrivals that are stable in my makeup bag right now.

YSL just launched the All Hours Foundation. I was excited about this launch and I think it’s going to be the best complexion product for the year 2023. It’s a semi-matte finish foundation with buildable coverage with a nice fresh finish. The formula is lightweight and infused with hyaluronic acid meaning that while it gives that matte finish, it keeps the skin looking plump. I find the shade LN8 with a neutral undertone is a perfect match for my complexion. The shade range is quite impressive covering 40 shades with different undertones. I love the finish and its lasting power and very easy to wear and blend.

The foundation is transfer-proof, waterproof, and heat-resistant which will be a good on-the-go summer foundation. It is a medium coverage foundation but you can build the coverage by adding more layers and it will not look heavy or cakey at all. The foundation doesn’t require any powder to set it in place, it sets on the skin beautifully and doesn’t move at all.

It comes in dream packaging with a black and golden cap that features the brand’s logo.

New from Urban Decay is the new Quickie 24H Multi-Use Hydrating Full-Coverage Concealer and I’ve been a long-time lover of their concealer formulas for their performance and lasting power on my dry skin. It is a full-coverage concealer that gives you that natural and airbrushed finish. It has a semi-matte finish with great lasting power performance and looks flawless under the eye area and all-over complexion. The formula is waterproof and moisturizing with a great range of shades with different undertones that I find quite impressive.

It is a one-swipe kinda complexion product that works as a concealer and foundation when on the go. It sets in place without looking healthy at all. I got to try it in two shades:

  • 30NN which is a light shade with a neutral undertone, I love to use it as a brightening concealer as well as on my complexion where I like to highlight.
  • 40 CP is a medium shade with a cool & pinky undertone, I like to cover any imperfections on my complexion & I can swipe all over my complexion when on the go.

I love the applicator that deposits enough product, I am not a huge fan of the blending brush that comes with it, but I find it helpful for on-the-go application purposes.

This is stable for my every day and evening looks especially as the weather gets warmer.

I picked the new Makeup for Ever HD Skin Matte Velvet Undetectable Longwear Blurring Powder Foundation as I have owned and loved the older version (reviewed here) and been loving the newly formulated HD Skin Matte Velvet Undetectable Longwear Blurring Powder Foundation (reviewed here). Make up for Ever has been one of my favourite brands when it comes to complexion products and they always come with innovations and formulations. I think I’ve tried their entire complexion products but recently they have gone through a major reformulation which makes me more excited.

I picked up shade 1N10 which is a good match. All I can say is that this is a full-coverage powder with a feather lightweight on the skin and perfects skin the best way and covers everything without looking dry or caky. The powder comes with the sponge applicator which I am not a huge fan of rather I love to apply with a dense brush to get an even look all over.

I’ve tried it on top of the foundation as well as by itself and it works amazingly both ways. This powder is a good stable on your on-the-go makeup bag to give an airbrushed finish to your looks.

Lancôme has launched some new and very interesting formulas. I’ve been a huge fan of their Lash Idôle Lash Mascara and was very excited to try this Idôle Ultra-Precise Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner. It’s a jet-black waterproof liner and comes in a precise applicator that makes it easy to use it. I love a good liner with good lasting power as mine always smudges, but this one is quite amazing for its performance and lasting power performance.

Dior reformulated their Addict Lip Maximizer line by improving the formula to be more natural in origin and introducing more opaque shades in the collection. I have been a huge lover of their formula and was very excited to try the new formula. There is quite a great range of shades in the collection and I picked up the shade Intense Rosewood which is a nice rosewood nude. The formula feels almost the same except the colour payoff looks much better than the older version. It gives that nice jelly finish that I like to wear on my lips all the time.

I hope you find this beauty roundup helpful. The new launches will be stable in terms of their quality and performance.
