Burberry Kisses Sheer (C$36 for 0.12 oz) is an ultra light weight lipstick and delivers a balm-like gel texture which hydrates lips while wearing. I wanted to thank the Burberry group for sending these beautiful Lipsticks for my review. As I have mentioned in the previous post Burberry Illuminating face powders, this is my first time going over Burberry beauty line. So far I am loving it and I can’t wait until I discover more about this beauty line and to share it will you all. These Burberry Kisses Sheer comes in twist up tube with a magnetic cap. This Burberry Kisses Sheer line carries in 28 gorgeous shades with a sheer shine finish. The texture is creamy and glides onto the lips effortlessly and feels moisturizing. In terms of coverage I would say they are sheer to medium in coverage, definitely buildable and you can get the true color with second or third swipe. It has a translucent texture and gives lips a glow with just one swipe. For me it’s always good to know that they have been formulated without Parabens, Sulfates and Phthalates. I loved how it is free of fragrance and lanolin, this added a plus point to this lipstick.
I am not getting over the fact that I had no red lipstick on my drawer. I have a couple of deep reds (burgundy), but nothing that I could have compare the Military Red from Burberry with. But as you can see from the swatch above, it is a beautiful bright red shade that is definitely a must for this season, since I have seen lots of military shade pieces trending for the season, this Military Red will give a perfect look to the outfit.
Bottom line these Burberry Kisses Sheer are amazing in terms of formula, wear and finish. After playing with these for couple of weeks now I am truly impressed with them in any terms, totally looks luxurious carrying and wearing.
