Armani beauty launched 6 more new shades to their Lip Maestro Liquid collection. The warmth of the Mediterranean sea inspires these shades. These new shades are infused with refined pearl pigments that offer a nice and subtle light-capturing effect to the finish. I’ve been a long-time lover of Armani’s Lip Maestro Liquid lipsticks, (reviewed here). I find the formula is really hydrating with a nice rich feel to it and the colour pays off and the pigment is just on point.
The collection comes in the same iconic packaging and cushion applicator that I find glides on lips perfectly to create that nice pout with precision. The new collection ranges from mauve nudes to bold reds and plum shades. I received 4 shades out of 6 from the collection and here is a quick look into the range.
- 215 Sun is a lovely luminous rose shade
- 216 Mediterranea is a luminous brick red that I love to wear
- 531 Cruise is a luminous deep mauve brown
- 532 Glow is a luminous medium brown
All the shades carry that lovely glow and spark that catches the sunlight to reflect that exceptional glow that resembles the sea surface when the sun hits. I think this collection has something for everyone. I also find the collection carries shades that are more on the bolder side. There are two shades I am missing from the collection that are good nudes for different skin tones.
For me to wear bold shades are rare, there are only a few red shades I can wear including the Armani shade Redwood which goes well with my skin tone that always has that perfect texture that I love to wear definitely have a stable on my makeup looks.
I find the collection carries shades that are wearable and something for everyone. For me, I think all shades go well with my skin tone but I’ve been loving the shade Glow for a soft neutral look and Mediterranea for a bolder look. I’ve linked all shades for you as well as my favourite red from the collection.
