Glow Recipe | Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum & Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm

New from Glow Recipe is the new Plum Plump™ Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($55.00) & Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm ($42.00). The more I discover Glow Recipe the more I get hooked to the brand. I find the products are very efficient, effective and well priced for what you’re getting. The brand really pays attention to the presentation and performance of its products. Here is what they are:

Up first is the new Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a super hydrating serum that is formulated with five weights of hyaluronic acid that fills the skin with hydration for smoother and plumper-looking skin.
Here is a closer look at it:

The formula is insanely hydrating and designed for all skin textures, yes even oily skin. It sinks into the complexion immediately and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all. It’s perfect to layer with any other serum plus a great base for your foundation for a nice and healthy-looking complexion.
I have been inducing it to my daily skincare routine for the past week and it just feels so good on the skin. It’s transition weather here for us so some days it’s hot and humid while some days it’s dry, windy and cold. This is a perfect product that I can use alone on those super hot and humid days while it layers amazingly with my skincare routine on those cold days.

The packaging is super cute, I like how the brand makes the packaging super fun.

Next is the Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm that is a cleanser that removes and melts all makeup dirt, oil and SPF. The formula is soft and creamy, and leathers nicely on skin. It really removed all my makeup in my two-step cleansing process. It’s designed for all skin types.

It doesn’t dry out the skin and smells super amazing. The formula is quite hydrating and soothes the skin at the same time. Many of you asked me if I can say that this is better than the Pharmacy Beauty’s cleansing balm so you guys can fill your buck with this one – yet unfortunately, I haven’t tried out the Pharmacy’s Cleansing balm to date. But I can definitely say that this is as amazing (not better but ..) as my favourite high-end cleansing balms like Eve Lom and La Prairie yet comes in a fraction of the price.
It really removes all makeup, feels nice on skin with an amazing scent and doesn’t strip down the skin while keeping it well hydrated.

In the end, I can say that both products are quite amazing for their performance and quality. It’s definitely not easy to impress me especially on a hydrating serum and cleansing balm but I am Impressed! If you’re on the hunt for a hydrating serum especially for this season this is definitely something I can recommend with a good price point. Yet if you’re into cleansing balms then this is one of the most sweetest and nice hydrating ones that you can get this season. You can now find all this newness from Glow Recipe available in Sephora.
