Shisiedo introduced some new beauty items this season which includes Kajal Ink Artist Shadow, Archliner Ink and Mascara (perfect eye essentials) this season. These newly added beauty items are quite amazing and I have been loving wearing them on daily basis.
First are the new Kajal Ink Artist Shadow, Liner and brow (C$34.00 each) are super creamy liners that comes in 10 beautiful shades in matte finish and stays in up for to 12 hours. The formula is waterproof and tear proof while it glides on the eyes feeling weightless. I find these to be a perfect liners to get that bold and graphic liner look with no time this season and it makes a perfect base for your eyeshadow to stay longer. It doesn’t smudge or creases and stays input for a good amount of time. They’re high pigmented that easily glides on the lids for a super smooth finish.
- Tea House – brown
- Lilac Lotus – pink
- Rose Pagoda – red
- Plum Blossom – purple
- Birodo Green – hunter green
- Sumi Sky – teal
- Gunjo Blue – blue
- Nippon Noir – black
I personally love wearing smokey eyes look and these liners makes it so much easy to wear the look with in the minutes while the lasting power is quite amazing. Plus I always look for build in detachable sharpener and sponge which makes it supper easy to carry it with your while on the go and get the look any where. You can apply them on the lid and inside the water line for a more bolder look and I was really surprise on how pretty the look inside the water line. I don’t wear too much color on my eyes but these shades are pretty wearable, the shades were inspired by both ancient and modern Japan. I don’t know how it wears on brows since I didn’t try it, I feel these are not really meant to do your brows.
Up next is a look at the Archliner Ink (C$32.00). I don’t get excited about liquid liner in general, but when I find a good one I do. I wear smudged and smoky eye look most of the times as its softer and diffused look but time to time I do love to wing out my eyes. This liquid liner is really good, it’s designed angled micro-precision tip makes it so easy to get that professional and perfect wing that is weightless and stays in put longer. The color is rich black and the formula provides up to 24 hours of waterproof, smudge proof and tear proof color. It’s definitely not like any other waterproof liners, it can be removed as easy as just any other liners.
Lastly is the ImperialLash MascaraInk (C$ 34.00). I think it’s a good but not my favorite as I cannot get enough length and volume. You all know I love bulky and long lashes but what it does is give a nice and decent volume and length with intense and glossy color that is perfect for no makeup days. It stays on all day with no smudging or smearing, while I loved the super creamy formula. I have been wearing it during Ramadan where I wanted to get a nice clean look and water proof formula really hold on pretty good. It does separates the lashes nicely, what I loved is that I could wear this with my cream eyeshadows. Usually my mascara gets creased on my eye crease if I’m not wearing powder eyeshadow or I have to do some baking on the area so my mascara don’t get smudge but with this one I didn’t get to any smudging.
At the end, the products are quite nice and practical when it comes to application. I loved the Kajal Ink – there is a great range of shades plus supper easy to apply with a great lasting power. While the Archliner Ink have made my life so easy to get that perfect black wing with no time (especially with three kids). And the Imperial Lash Mascara not a huge hit but I’m loving it for no makeup looks or days to go to the gym.
All these new launches are now available in store and online at Sephora and Shiseido.
