Rodial | The Iconic Collection Face Palette Limited Edition

Todays review is on the New Rodial Icons Collection Limited Edition Palette (C$95.00) is a complete face palette that carries Rodial’s iconic complexion powders with two new and exclusive shades. When it comes to face palettes I get really excited, I can literally use one face palette to create many different looks from day-to-night and I found this palette to be versatile and travel friendly. The shades range is amazing and you can layer the products for more intense look. The texture is highly pigmented and blends beautifully along with each other. This Iconic Collection Palette contains:

  • Contour Light – a matte ash brown shade with cooler under tone
  • Contour Medium – is a matte medium brown shade with warmer under tone
  • Bronzer – a matte medium brown shade with warm under tone
  • Blush – warm neutral coral peachy shade with satin finish
  • Highlighter 06 – shimmery yellow gold shade
  • Highlighter 07 – is a shimmery pearl
  • Banana Powder – matte neutral yellow shade
  • Translucent HD Powder

The Contour shades have been picked perfectly so it doesn’t look too orangey at all. The packaging is sleek-looking and light. The palette fall into the medium category – I think you can still work for pale and deep skin tones, by using less for pale and layer for more deep skin tone but if you’re some one in medium range this works amazing. For me it’s just an absolute amazing palette, I most of the times use neutral shades for my eyes and I found this palette to be one complete face palette to create soft Smokey day eye look using the contour and bronze shades or add a little shimmer on my eye led to add more dimension for night look. Or just use the blush on my crease to give that peachy eye look which is perfect for summer time. The formula for the powders have an almost creamy feel and shimmers are finely pressed together and there are no fall outs.

Overall I loved the palette, it’s an all in one perfect neutral face palette that works to all skin tones. The shades pretty much cover all skin tones except the very deep skin tone, I think it makes a perfect palette for makeup artists as well anyone who travels a lot. The packaging is very sleek it fits into any bag easily and its light wI would highly suggest to check this palette before it’s gone.  You can now find Rodial Icons Face Palette at your nearest Shoppers Drug Mart.
