Ole Henriksen’s beauty products have been on of the skin care items I really wanted to try for a very long time. I still remember me using my first Truth Serum just before I started with my blogging carrier. I still remember how fresh I felt after using the product after some time. Yet I was super happy and excited to get connected with the brand once again. Initially I was sent out the PHAT Glow Facial mask during the summer time from the brand which I absolutely loved it! And this time I received The Glow That Starts Rumors kit which claims to transform the look of the skin within two weeks, especially reduce the look of dark spots (which I got super excited for), fine lines and wrinkles. The kit is consists of three product that can be used in your morning and night skin care routine.

- C-Rush Brightening Gel Crème
- PHAT Glow Facial™ Mask
Up first is the Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner is a potent toner which formulated with high-potency AHA (glycolic and lactic acids) that reduces the look of dark spots and smooths our the texture on the skin. Its designed for all skin texture and the formula can only be introduced to your nightly skin care routine. This comes in liquid form. It definitely helps the skin with brightening and clearing the spots but I for the formula to be a bit too intense for my skin texture. I’m not a huge fan of toners in general but I actually wanted to try out this one to brighten up my dark spots and even out my skin tone.
I experienced some irritation after couple back to back use for 3 nights constantly, which I decided to use only 3 times a week. I found that my skin was only allowing me to use the product only 2-3 times a week not more than that. Yet I have already seen a huge difference in overall look of my skin. The dark spots have gone much lighter and my skin feels and looks super smooth.
Up next in this kit is the C-Rush Brightening Gel Crème is a super hydrating and refreshing vitamin C rush cream that helps smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. This one is designed to introduce in your daily skin care routine (morning and evening). Its designed for all skin textures and types. I have been loving this moisturizer the most, it not only feels refreshing on skin – the freshly squeezed juice scent literally picks up mood. Its infused with Rose of Winter extract that adds a youthful radiance to the skin. The texture of the cream is ultra light and feels like a gel cream which immediately gets into the skin while it adds a long-lasting hydration throughout the day.
I have introduced it into my morning and nightly skin care routine and it have been fairly amazing for my skin during this fall/winter season. It makes a perfect hydrating primer or in another word it prepares the skin amazingly for makeup application.
PHAT Glow Facial™ Mask is the last step in this kit that have been reviewed here on Million Idole, click here for full review on this product. This is a weekly exfoliating and scrubbing step that polishes the skin just like a facial. There is no downtime with this mask, you can literally use this mask before your makeup application for more radiant and smooth looking complexion. It helps reduce the look of pores, dark spots and wrinkles each time.

I have been constantly using the products as guided for the past two weeks (except the Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner have been used 2-3 times a week), and I find the results quite amazing and noticeable. You can find ways to introduce the products into your daily skin care routine depending on your skin’s texture and sensitively levels. For me winter is a perfect time of the year where I can use brightening products for the fact that I find them save when there isn’t too much sun exposure. I would still highly recommend to wear your sunscreen during the time you use brightening products as well as a week after using them.
Here at the end I hope this two-week Glow challenge was helpful, I’m loving the overall look of my skin.
