Nars have just launched new lip category this fall season with introducing the new Velvet Lip Glide (C$34 each). These new Velvet lipsticks are the new innovation of long-lasting lip colors that carries and semi-matte finish, which is between lipstick and lip gloss. These Velvet Lip Glides on smooth and provides an ultimate hydration. They come in 12 beautiful shades neutral to vivid bold shades and vampy colors.
The texture is highly pigmented like lipstick yet it glides on lips like a lip gloss. The lasting power is amazing it lasted on my lips about 4 to 5 hours without bleeding or cracking, I must say I am a firm believer that lip liner does extend the life of the lipstick. But over all I would say it lasts about 4-6 hours and it finishes like a lips gloss. The texture is very glossy at first but it does dries out to a velvet finish yet it comfortably lasts on the lips. The formula is also enriched with Waterlily and white tea extract for antioxidant production which keeps lips well hydrated. I feel these are going to hit the market this season. 
I must say I absolutely love the packaging, its supper sleek and glamorous. The glass tube highlights the colors of the lipsticks and the flat application of the lipstick is supper soft and firmed which allows to contour lips evenly. It fits in any bags and clutches for easy on the go touchups. I feel it’s very hard to pick up favorite shades, all of the colors are beautiful and unique.
Bottom line you must experience this by your self to know what I mean, they are beautiful. I have been wearing them every day and on the events and people have been noticing the beautiful velvet texture and colors.
