Urban Decay Cosmetics introduced a new base Face Bond Self-Setting Waterproof Foundation to their makeup line. Urban Decay is a beauty brand that we all have had a crush on their beauty products in our lives. For me, it’s always been their eyeshadow palettes, full-coverage concealer and setting spray. The beauty products are well-designed for targeted customers, purely for high-performance makeup in the market.
The new Face Bond Self-Setting Foundation is a medium coverage foundation with the skincare benefits of a serum that doesn’t require setting it with powder. The foundation name is the best description of the foundation itself. It is a matte foundation with buildable coverage and it wears as you wish, you can make this foundation look fresh with a blurring effect by applying it with a beauty sponge or make it full coverage with a matte finish by using it with your fingers. This foundation also works on all skin textures prepping is the key. For dry skin prep the skin with hydrating and glowing skincare products and you can apply it by itself and it sets beautifully on the skin. here is a quick before and after:
For my dry skin, this will be a nice foundation to wear during summer time and I think it will look great as I don’t want to set my foundation with powder. I have been wearing it to see how it looks on my face (I prep my skin with facial oil) and I love the soft blurring finish and lasting power that doesn’t fade. I didn’t need to apply powder to set the foundation or to make it last longer.
I have been loving the Urban Decay Blush Hydromaniac Dewy Liquid Blush which is not quite new in the market but I’ve been loving them lately. These are highly pigmented blush formulas that are undetectable on the skin and add a nice and natural rosy glow to the cheeks. It is buildable and applies easily with fingertips. There is a great range of colours but I’ve been loving the Unhinged which is a berry mauve shade that gives my cheeks that perfect flush of colour. This reminds me of when I used to get the same flush cheek colour with I was in my teens. The entire collection is beautiful.
Ultimately, I love the new Face Bond Self-Setting Waterproof Foundation & Hydromaniac Dewy Liquid Blush, both have been stables in my makeup routine. These will look nice and will hold on to the skin beautifully during the season. I’ve linked some of my favourite items from the brand here for you.
