Summer is just around the corner and I’m already feeling it on my mind right now. I love wearing nice warm shades associated with a little of summery bronze shades. For the beauty world, seasonal collection launch a head of time and many already have update their makeup wardrobe for warmer weather. Today I will be sharing some of my summer beauty favorites covering a bit of every thing from skin, fragrance, lips, eyes and complexion.
First up are items for skin and body. As many of you know that I have a very dry skin and it applies to the whole body, the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse multipurpose dry oil have been one of my favorite to give my skin a boost, I have been applying it on my dry nail cuticle, and I must say my nail never have been looked this smooth before. I find it delivers an amazing shine to hair, and skin with a beautiful scent to please every one. In summer I love to wear bright nail polish whether its bright coral, pink, red, or orange. My current obsession of the moment is the L’Oréal Colour Riche® Nail Colour which is bright orangey-red shade. two coats give full coverage and the lasting power is quite amazing.
For fragrance, Angel – Eau Sucrée Eau de Toilette and Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche SkinScent have a perfect sweet and dreamy taste to it for this season, they’re both quite amazing. I always have been loved to wear floral during the summer time but this time I have been wearing these for a change for some time now. The Bronze Goddess carries a little bit of floral scent to it. Both are limited-edition and I find the first limited-edition of Angel was a little too strong, the newer version is lighter which I feel is the best one yet.
Protecting your skin with sunscreen is must this season and the one last longer is important. I do have a very sensitive skin and I find some of the sunscreens doesn’t work for my skin. The Sun Care Milk-Lotion Spray which range from SPF 20 to 50+ and is the only one that I find works on my skin so far. I love how it comes in a Milk-Lotion form which hydrated and protects at the same time. It’s weightless so you don’t feel like greasy or heavy on skin. I do use tinted sunscreen for face and the two that I can swear by are Instant Radiance Sun Defense by Dr.Dennis Gross and UV plus HP Day Sunscreen High Protection Tint from Clarins which both carries SPF 40 and protects the skin like a magic which both comes un-scented. Love who they evens out my skin with a natural looking skin while protects the skin from the hash rays.
For the lips, love the associated summer colors with bright shades, I love to wear pinks, corals as well as nudes for softer looks. The Best nude I’ve tried in so far is Burberry Kisses Sheer in Nude Beige. It is so nice and feels smooth on the lips. There are a great range of shades to chose from, Military Red is another shades if you like to go bold in evening time. I also have been obsessed over Burberry Full Kisses in Nude blush and Coral Red. These are limed-edition and have become a must for me.
Here are few sheer finish lip glosses and lipsticks that I have added to my lipstick collections are the Translucent Color lip sheer from Beautycounter that I have recently discovered which claims to doesn’t carry any harmful ingredient and I love to wear it on daily basis for any close-up with my kids, I feel safe. There are few shades from NEW CLINIQUE POP GLAZE SHEER LIP COLOUR + PRIMER which keeps the lips well hydrated plus add-on a beautiful tinted shaded as a natural glow to the lips. I love to add a little bit of color around the edges with a lip pencil, to get a more defined look. They both almost have a jelly like finish.
If you’re looking for more affordable options I have a few options for perfect Nude and pink (Honey Love and Please Me) from M.A.C cosmetics, are by far my favorites from M.A.C cosmetics which I always buy the backups for. Both carries a matte finish but you can always top it some translucent lip gloss to add shine to it.
For eyes I love glossy finish and shimmery during summer time. It adds on a fun look to the eyes, usually bronze shades with warm under tones are my favorite to wear on daily basis. Marc Jacobs Beauty Twinkle Pop Stick Eyeshadow have been a staple for me. Shadow sticks are always an easy way to use and convenient to apply plus adding a little of powder eyeshadow will lock it for good. Clarins Shimmery Eyes in Golden Sand and Golden Peach also have been one of favorites this year, love the soft and smooth texture which gives a perfect finish by itself as well as a perfect base for any eyeshadow. Eyestudio® Color Tattoo® Concentrated Crayons are also my favorite this year, specially since they come in jumbo pencil packaging where applying is much easier than the ones in the pot. I have been wearing them in Lavish Lavender and in Creamy Chocolate.
In terms of some powder eyeshadow, Clinique NEW CLINIQUE LID POP in Willow Pop is one of my favorite military eye shadows to wear this season. The Clinique Lid Pop also comes in beautiful bright shades, Surf Pop have been so lovely to wear.
For complexion I love the glowing skin. As my long time readers know how much I am associated with glowy skin. If you ask me what one bronzer I would recommend – it would be a very tough choice for me to pick just one. If you like a luminous glow, the Clarins Bronzing Powder & Blush have been one of my favorite so far, because it’s carries every thing you need to give your skin a glowing bronzed finish look. All the shades carries a nice warm under tone to pull of the warmth in your skin. Plus love how it comes with a beautiful Peachy blush shade, to enhance all skin tones. Hourglass Cosmetics never fails to bring the best in the market, the Ambient® Lighting Blush in Gold Pink is one of my all time favorites. It combines the customized lighting effects of Ambient Lighting Powder which creates a seamless, soft-focus, and multidimensional color, with a beautiful glow. The Pro-Sculpting Duo from Makeup For Ever is not some thing new but I love how it gives a perfect glow to the skin and adds definition to the cheek bones and highlights the best features of the face.
