L’Oréal Paris just introduced the new Infallible Matte Liquid lipsticks and Infallible Lip Paints Metallic Liquid lipsticks. I have been a long time lover for the L’Oréal makeup’s lipsticks or in other words the first lipstick I purchased was from L’Oréal. They truly keep the promise on bringing the best yet affordable products into the beauty world. And this was the first time I got to try out their Infallible Matte and Metallic lipstick formulas. I received a mix of colors from the brand from both formulas to play with. It truly exceeded my expectations.
Up first is the Infallible Matte Liquid is a collection of the matte liquid lipsticks that truly stays input for 24 hours. The formula does not feel dry nor peel off the lips next day as most of the matte lipsticks can make the lips look dry and patchy. The texture is soft and creamy but you do need a nice and smooth surface lips for that flawless application. The formula stays input without smudging or moving at all. It doesn’t transfer to your clothes or glass and there are no reapplication required. The collection carries some beautiful and amazing color selection from nudes to dark deep plum and red. Comes in great packaging, I personally loved the applicator – it carries that triangle shape to create that sharp edges for a sleek finish of the lips. 
Colors I received contains:
- Shake Down is a beautiful deep
- Nudist is a perfect and true nude shade with a little yellow under tone.
- Deeply Disturbed is a dark deep plum which I felt in love with it. I usually don’t wear deep shades but I couldn’t resist this shade to wear.
- Cowboy is a beautiful and brown cinnamon shade.
- Angora is a nude shade with a grey under tone, it just did not go with my skin tone at all.
- Matador is a bright and beautiful red which makes it perfect to wear any time of the year.
Up next is the Infallible Lip Paints Metallic Liquid lipsticks which is a new addition to the Infallible Lip Paint liquid lipstick line. This is a collection of liquid lipstick with metallic finish and full coverage texture, as probably you all have seen the metallic trend is going hard from eyes to nails and for sure we can’t forget about lips. The Infallible Lip Paint Metallic lipsticks come in four different shades from nude to dark and deep colors. I received the three shades from the brand which pretty much justify the collection. They all have that glossy metallic finish or foil effect finish with a soft and creamy texture. It lasts pretty good, but it does transfers to your glass or clothes easily. You can definitely play with Infallible Matte Liquid Lipsticks and top it with Infallible Lip Paints Metallic Liquid lipsticks for that long-lasting performance and metallic finish at the same time.
- Moon Lust is a nice pinkish nude with that foil affect finish.
- Galactic Foil is a burgundy with pinkish foil effect.
- Smoldering Eclipse is a deep maroon shade with lustrous finish.
Overall a huge thumbs up for these new formulas in terms of quality, color selection and lasting powder. I haven’t tried out any other drug store liquid lipstick that met the performance of these lipsticks from L’Oréal. I would compare these to the high-end and luxury brand lipsticks and would highly recommend you all to give these a try especially since we are all in the holiday party mood and you don’t need to worry about you lipstick smearing, smudging – nor for reapplying. There are a great range of shades and colors, plus I think these would make a perfect gift for your girl friends that are into the makeup and lipstick, believe me they’ll appreciate this for sure.
