Laura Mercier just introduced 4 new shades to her iconic Blush Color Infusion collection. These are long-wearing blushes with sheer coverage but buildable. Throughout my blogging life + before I, unfortunately, missed on her blushers. I have tried everything from her complexion except her blushers. But it’s not too late, I am glad I did found out about them.
The team kindly send out 3 out of 4 shades for me to preview. There is a new addition to the matte finish (Bellini), one addition to the shimmer finish (Passionfruit) and two new shades been added with a natural finish that is all-new (Watermelon). I find all the new shades are different and not identical to any old ones. The newly added shades are fresh and are perfect for the spring season.
- Bellini is a nice peachy coral in a matte finish
- Watermelon is a cute soft pink with shimmers probably my favourite colour to wear
- Passionfruit is a soft warm coral luminescent pink
They carry a nice silky smooth texture that feels pleasant on the skin while it adds a nice flush of colour to the skin for the most natural look. Although they’re sheer coverage you can buildup the colour to your taste without feeling powdery at all. The blushes blend seamlessly with a diffused pigment and apply nicely with a medium fluffy brush. I love wearing blushers, I think they add life and freshness to the skin and I personally love shades that brighten my face, depending on my makeup look. I find all shades are wearable and go pretty well with all skin tones.
The Blush Color Infusion comes in the same sleek iconic mirror compact.
I have been reaching out more to the Watermelon shade for the past week. It gives a nice soft pinky shade with a nice subtle glow that I like to wear all the time. Lasting power is excellent. It lasted on me for almost all day, without any touchups.
You can find the new Blush Color Infusion available at Saks Fifth Avenue, and Sephora.
