Laneige just introduced a new addition to their Water Bank line the Dual Layer Face Oil (C$49 for 1.6 oz/ 50 mL) exclusively online at Sephora. This a light weight oil that is designed to hydrate and nourishes the skin with just a few shakes. At first sight I knew I would love this product, oils works great on my skin and I have had many skin care products from Laneige that have been a total hit for me. After testing this for 4 weeks now, I have truly can say that if any time your skin loved face oil this is going to work amazingly on your skin.
It’s rich but light and carries a very silky smooth finish that is super nourishing, shaking it before application activates Mineral Water and Moisture Roof which is a mix of skin friendly oils to seal in the moisture in the skin. I have introduced it in my nightly routine – Laneige recommends using it on clean skin after your essence followed by your skin care routine, you can apply it on the face and neck area by warming the product between your balms and pressing it into your skin for extra absorption. After using this at night I find my skin looks more plump, hydrated and firmed in the morning. For skin care it takes some times to see the results but I found with oils in general and especially with this one the results are instantly and with regular use skin looks more radiant and youthful. Dryness is something that I’m always more conscious as I’m aging, fine lines and loss of firmness especially the skin under eye area are some thing that I always want to look after, I find oils have always helped me with this issue. You can easily mix it with any of your face creams, foundation and concealer for thinning out your product or for extra hydration. I personally love to use this oil to prep my skin before doing my makeup.
At the end I have been loving the Dual Layer Face Oil for giving my skin that extra hydration it needs during this hot days, I still feel dry with constantly spending time around air condition and once the heating fan gets on I think I will need to introduce it in my morning routine too. My skin will love and need this Face Oil during the Fall and Winter months for sure. Oils are the only way that I keep my skin hydrated during those cold and dry months.
