Glowing Holiday Makeup Look + Loving Right Now

The weather cools up tremendously but I am excited to find new bases and beauty products that give me that perfect glow for the season. I’ve been playing around with a few new launches for the fall beauty items for a perfect glowing holiday makeup look and today I am sharing them here with you all. I am covering the entire look from my base, eyes, cheeks and lips!!

YSL Nu Collection

Having a good base that brings everything together. I just recently found the entire Nu Collection from YSL beauty that I’ve been using the collection to achieve that luminous and radiant finish skin and have been reaching out continuously for its performance and finish. The Nu range has everything you need from prepping the skin to the final finish for dry and oily skin plus the collection carries many skin-loving ingredients to help the skin in long run.

NU Glow in Balm Face Priming Moisturizer

This is a priming moisturizer that preps skin for a nice and healthy-looking glow that comes from within. The formula is lightweight which doesn’t disturb the foundation plus it’s infused with a non-comedogenic oil-in-water formula that nourishes without clogging the pores. It carries light-reflecting pearls that add luminosity to the skin. It is always a good idea to give a little time between each base application.

NU Tone Corrector & Complexion Booster

These are colour correctors to even out your complexion depending on what you’re targeting. The formula is infused with vitamin E which soothes and nourishes the skin. They all carry a creamy white texture which doesn’t seem like does anything but once it applies to the skin you see the results.
It comes in 3 shades:

  • Rosy – visibly improves dull skin and revivs the glow which works great on dehydrated skin.
  • Green – calms redness immediatly neutralizes and adds radiance its perfect for dry skin.
  • Golden – combats dark pigmentation and neutralizes the skin which I have been loving the most.

They have a plain sheer white milky texture that evens out the skint one once applied. You can wear it as a primer or corrector to even out the skin tone for your base or wear it alone for a perfect skin look on daily basis.

NU Bare Look Tint Skin Tint Foundation

This is a lightweight tint moisturizer formulated with hyaluronic acid with light coverage but buildable to medium yet it gives skin that fresh and glowy finish that we all desire. This is what I’ve been loving for my every day and night looks for my complexion. It evens out the complexion but you need a good concealer + corrector to cover anything you need more coverage on.

The NU Tone Corrector & Complexion Booster makes a perfect pair with this one for an even, natural and glowing complexion. I have been wearing in shade Nu 7 that is a perfect match for my skin.

NU Dewy Mist Rejuvenating Face Spray

This is a super fine facial spray that is infused with hyaluronic acid and jojoba oil that adds plumpness to the skin immediately. If you’re someone who suffers from dryness all the time this is what you need to add extra hydration to the skin.

My Favorite Setting Powder

For powder, I have found a holy grail formula that is the new Original Mineral Veil Pressed Setting Powder. It comes in Translucent shade and a good range of shades to cover all skin tones. If you’re someone like me who likes glowy complexion or powders that don’t sit properly on the skin then this is one of no-fuss setting powder that is the way to go. This is easy to use, doesn’t emphasize fine lines or wrinkles.

My Favorite Eye Stables

I love to keep my eye looking neutral. I have a couple of hit formulas when it comes to liners – Nars the Climax Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner has been a favourite of mine for its easy applicator and jet black finish. The Estee Lauder Little Black Liner has a two-sided applicator so you can have more control over how precise or bold you want your liner to look + its smudged proof formula stays well. And the Charlotte’s Hollywood Exagger-Eyes Double-Ended Eyeliner Pencil is what like to use as a base or for no liner looks. It’s one of the best pencil liners I have ever used.

The Charlotte Tilbury Super Nudes Easy Eyeshadow Palette is a must-have for me. It has a creamy formula with a nice selection of nude shades that you can create many stable looks with a super creamy and pigmented formula.

The  Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara from Charlotte is what I have been loving the most, the formula is jet black with an amazing applicator that lifts the lashes immediately.

Favorite Lip Products

Glosses are the formulas that I reach out to quite frequently and Urban Decay has a new formula – Vice Plumping Shine Lip Balm ($26.00 each). This is what adds a nice shine and a little colour that is quite adoring.

I am a neutral lip lover by heart and here are some of the formulas that I have been loving lately. The Ysl Rouge Volupte Shine Lipsticks have been one of my all-time favourite formulas. The formula is hydrating and adds colour and shine to the lips. You can still find their limited edition packaging that is perfect for the holiday season.
