New from Glow Recipe is the Watermelon Glow PHA +BHA Pore-Tight Toner (C$45.00) exclusively at Sephora. This is a super gentle PHA- and BHA- infused toner that immediately hydrates and refreshes skin’s texture. For a long time, I have never been a lover of toners in general for the fact that I have super dry skin and usually, tonners are designed for oily skin textures to help remove excess dirt and oil plus it balances the PH of the skin and controls acne. As well as I find many tonners to dry out my skin which causes a breakout. Glow Recipe is a brand that slowly is getting over my skincare counter much quicker than any other skincare brands and with a much affordable price range while it’s effective with very high-quality performance. I have had tried out a couple of their Watermelon line products which I have been obsessed yet I really wanted to try out the new Watermelon Glow PHA +BHA Pore-Tight Toner.
I find the Watermelon Glow PHA +BHA Pore-Tight Toner is designed for all skin texture with a very soothing and hydrating component that really helps skin with hydration while works gently on pores. Its also infused with Cactus Water which helps seal moisture in the skin that prevents moisture loss while the antioxidants offer plumpness. I also find the PHA in this toner is quite gentle where it exfoliates skin for a softer and smoother finish without stripping the skin or feeling dry at all. The formula is quite amazing and it’s nice to know that it’s alcohol-free. My dry and sensitive skin has been loving this during this spring/summertime. I personally love pre-lotion serums and softening essences for my skin during the cooler months and water-based infused essences during the warmer months but I think I found a product that will help my skin stay well hydrated while really refines those pores during the hot and humid days.
I personally like to use my hands to apply the toner and any other essences to get more hydration into my skin yet if you have oily skin you may want to use a cotton pad to actually remove any excess oil from the skin while you apply the product.
You can introduce it very easily to your daily skincare routine without any kind of compromise. The combination of cactus water and cucumber in the formula makes it smell very fresh and fruity. It comes in a very nice thick glass jar carrying the same watermelon line’s pinky look.
Bottom line I would highly recommend this Watermelon Glow PHA +BHA Pore-Tight Toner from Glow Recipe especially during these hot summer days. It’s probably the best toner I have tried by far and very well priced for what you’re getting. You can really use it any time of the day to get skin refreshed on these hot and humid days.
