Fall Nail Polish Swatches | OPI, China Glaze & CND

I’ve been into deeper shades for the fall season almost all the time, and I have few favourite shades from the new Fall Collections that I wanted to share with you all. I do have few must-have deep shades from Dior, Essie and O.P.I that are my go-to when it comes to classic shades for my nails. Although I have always loved and been impressed by the Dior brand for their shade range the Dior Vernis range I find doesn’t last well on nails as other brands do.

when it comes to deep tones, there are hit or miss depending on your skin tone. For me, deep wine tones are a huge hit and recently I have been liking deeper sapphire blues for a change.

O.P.I

O.P.I. Nail formulas are my favourite for their lasting power and performance. They do last quite nicely on my nails with all the chores I do around the house and I find the gel top coat really makes a huge difference on its wear. Here are comparable swatches of the shades I like to wear during the fall season.

  • Lets Take an Elfie is from shine bright collection and its a shimmery violet-purple nail polish shade. I think this one is a little fun and sexy to wear. I like to wear this shade for events and date nights.
  • Complimentary Wine is my all time favorite – its a deep burgundy nail polish. This one is from Milan collection which was one of my favorite collection from O.P.I.
  • Dressed to the Wine is from shine bright collection and is wines with this a nice red-wine shimmer nail polish shade
  • I’m Not Really a Waitress is a vivacious chianti red with shimmers.

China Glaze

China Glaze has been a good nail polish formula for many years. The new Autumn Collection is out and the entire collection is just gorgeous. I have full swatches of the Fall Autumn Collection on my Instagram page for you guys and here are few shades that I am admiring for the season.

  • Modern Auburn is a gorgeous dark red crème. Probably one of my favourite shades from the collection. It’s different than what i like from deep dark reds. It carrie a hint of deep eggplant shade that is just devine.
  • Evening Seduction is a nice deep plum polish, very opeque and pigmented. Two coates brings its true color. Its a perfect shade to pick up the mood.

CND

I have recently started to play around with the CND Nail polishes and I have been in love with their selection of shades. I also found their shades really compliment my skin tone and wears quite well on my nails compare to other nail brands, especially when you use the Gel Top Coat.
They just introduced their Fall collection and I am thrilled to get the entire collection to swatch them here for you all. The collection carries are a great range of shades for the fall season plus they come in shellac.

Wooded Bliss
This is a beautiful deep purple-brown crème. It’s a perfect fall-neutral shade that you can wear easily.

Books & Beaujolais
This is a nice and perfect red creme with a warm undertone. It’s probably one of the reds that work with my skin tone very well.

Candlelight
This is a mustard yellow crème shade. It’s a shade for those who prefer to bring more colour to their nails.

Verbena Velvet
This is a deep purple creme shade that is very darling. I think this is one of IT shades for the season that is quite romantic and perfect for date nights and events.

Wrapped in Linen
This is a neutral beige crème. If you’re a neutral love this is a nice shade that pulls of warmer tones.

Soft Flame
This is a bright coral creme shade. It’s bright enough to wear it through the fall season.

Favorite Blues For Fall

Find the right shade of blues that would go well with your skin undertone is quite frustrating and if you get it wrong it will turn into a total fail. Not all blue shades go well with my skin tone but there are few blues that has become my stables for my fall nails look and they are as follows:

O.P.I. Duomo Days, Isola Nights is a beautiful denim blue from Milan Collection and has a mirrored finish and one full coat is good enough to get the true colour but I would prefer for two to get that nice even finish.

Royal Blue from Loreal is another blue I like to wear for the fall season. It’s quite deep but I love when the light hits it brings its indigo shade out. I find this shade is quite flattering on all skin tones.

That’s a wrap for fall nail polishes, I hope this post has helped you find the right shade you’re looking for this season. I tried to cover all the new must-have nail polish launches in this post. My nail polish collection is growing yet I like to keep it simple and easy to wear without any surprises. I have shared live swatches of the CND and China Glaze fall 2021 collection on my Instagram Reel and you can find them online at NailPolishCanada.com
