Charlotte Tilbury just added two more eyeshadow palettes in her Luxury Eye palette line. These two palettes include the Rebel and Queen of Glow that come in an eyeshadow quad palette. I had the pleasure to test out her The Legendary Muse Luxury Eyeshadow Palette reviewed here which I believe was a limited edition. Both palettes are quite different in terms of color selection and finish while the shadows stay input with little to no-creasing formulas. Charlotte Tilbury’s Luxury Eyeshadow palettes are all about layering and enhancing the eye look with a combination of shades that goes well together. Charlotte Tilbury’s Luxury palettes come in four harmonious eye colors which include Prime, Enhance Smoke, and Pop to take you to step by step on how to create that perfect eye look. Here is a closer look at both palettes.
Up first is the Rebel Eyeshadow Palette ($66.00) which comes in a combination of khaki green + Gold quad to create a nice soft khaki smoky eye look with some pop of nice fine shimmers that is super trendy this spring season. Two shades come in shimmer finish while the other two comes with micro-sparkle with a shimmery and matte base that sparks like glitters yet with medium coverage but you can still see color once applied on the lids. The shades include a nice soft gold, olive-green, soft golden khaki, and deep khaki. I’m a huge lover of the khaki shadow palettes all year-long and find this one to be one of the best combinations that I have tested so far. It goes very well on my skin tone and I see myself wearing this spring almost every day. I feel it looks beautiful on darker and especially brown eyes.
All shades come with a super soft and buttery feel that glides beautifully on eyelids and can be layered nicely with each other. I find the shades can be worn alone or along with each other to create many different looks from day-to-night very easily.
Next is the Queen of Glow Eyeshadow Palette ($66.00) that comes in a mix of golds and champagnes which makes this palette super popular for its warm tones during spring/summertime. This palette comes in three shimmery shades and one in matte. I find the shades are beautiful and go very well along with each other and I absolutely love the idea of having an ultra-pigmented matte finish shade in the palette. The shades include a soft champagne tone shade, soft golden bronze, nice soft copper, and deep plum with a brown undertone. for me, it’s essential to have a deep shade to do an eye look to smoke out the look for evenings.
It’s probably one of the most beautiful palettes with such great combinations of champagne, copper, and brown. I find this palette is beautiful to create many simple golden classic looks for day and night. I also found that the matte finish shade combines deep intensity with an extreme softness which is rare with most of the matte finish shadows. I’m absolutely in love with the palette and for its true beautiful matte finish shade that I can wear it along all the time.
Overall a huge thumbs up to these new additions. If you’re someone like me where I love to wear soft sultry eye looks along with nice smoky eyes with neutral shades and a bit of shimmer that can be wearable all day long, you definitely need to try out these eyeshadows. I love how they layer to create that perfect eye look as well as you can wear the shades alone by themselves. You can find these newly added shadows at all Charlotte Tilbury counters at all department stores as well as their available in-store and online at Sephora, and CharlotteTilbury.com.
