Charlotte Tilburry | Eyes To Mismrise

Charlotte Tilbury just launched two new shades to their Eyes To Mesmerise cream eyeshadow collection ($44.06 for 0.24 oz/7 mL). These are one of the products that becomes a must have once you try them on. They’re super creamy, easy to apply and blends beautifully while the pigment payoff is there. The collection came in a great range of shades and this time Charlotte is introducing:

  1. Star Gold is a beautiful bronzy gold shade with shimmers
  2. Rose Cold is a gorgeous rosy gold shade with shimmers

The formula is quite amazing, probably one of the best cream formulas out there. They’re weightless and carries a perfect amount of shimmers that’s perfect to wear every day while gives you that perfect night look on night events. These two new shades are quite beautiful and perfect for all skin tones. I received Star Gold to try out from the brand and I’m obsessed over this shade. It’s a shade that you can never go wrong. It doesn’t set between eyelid lines as well it doesn’t crease, although I have a very dry skin which makes it very ideal for cream shadows to stay nicer than those with oily skin but I found applying a light layer of matte eyeshadow or an eyeshadow primer helps the shadow to stay longer. It layers beautifully without any effort while it gives that full impact to your overall look.
For a day look – I have been applying a light layer of my favorite powder bronzer Hoola from Benefit cosmetics all over my eyes, followed by Star Gold all over my eye lid with my finger tip blending upward, while using a small flat brush I layer across my eyelid and under eye area for more dramatic look. The Eyes to Mesmerise collection comes in a glass pot packaging which makes it easy to dig into the product with your finger tip or with your choice of brush, it sealed nicely with chocolate brown cap with brands logo in rose gold so it doesn’t dry out fast.

At last pure love for me. I can’t get enough of theses cream shadows, as a neutral makeup lover I find this to be a perfect cream shadow with a really good pigment and sophisticated shimmer that keeps the balance. You can easily wear it alone or layer it for more pigment. You can sheer it out to wear it with full pigment, it stays input and looks fabulous. They’re on the pricey side but a little goes a long way and I haven’t noticed the formula to get drier at all for last couple of weeks.
