Beautycounter recently have launched two new products Color Contour (C$48 for 0.35 oz) and Body Oil in Citrus Rosemary (C$89 for 80 ml). Beautycounter is one of the brands who are working to introduce safer products to the market. I have been loving some of their products and I do use them on daily basis. I was very pleased with this two new launches, they’re both are great products to consider.IMG_1617

Color Contour Matte Bronzer (C$48 for 0.35 oz) is a nice matte finish bronzer with Porcelain Flower Extract. This bronzer comes in two different shades (N.01 and No.2) to cover all skin tones and I do find that these bronzers are pretty versatile. It carries the perfect shade where it’s not too orangey or too gray, some thing in between where it creates a perfect shade to the skin for a sun kissed glow. The texture is very soft and light which goes on smoothly on the skin, love how it is bendable and buildable to your desire. I found the shade No.2 was a little too dark on my skin, so I had to blend it very well which worked pretty good and it really gives a nice sculpt look. It comes in a beautiful light weight packaging with a good size mirror for touch ups. Body Oil in Citrus Rosemary (C$89 for 80 ml) is an instantly absorbed and intensely moisturizing oil which leave skin well hydrated and smooth. This Body Oil carries 13 botanical oils which are effective in keeping the skin soft and silky while the sweet orange, grapefruit and rosemary gives a peasant yet subtle scent. As my long time readers know how much I love oils, and oils are the only way I can keep my skin well hydrated especially during winter time. I have putted this on use right after I got my hands on this oil and I must say I have been loving it. I personally love multi-tasking oils, where this is just directly for the body use only so I haven’t tried it on my face or hair yet. The only down side for me was the packaging, I felt the spraying nozzle was not effective in getting the product out. I am a little too picky about the packaging with some of the products especially with oils. But the Oil was too good where I could ignore the luck of packaging.

Overall I loved both of the products, the Color Contour is a nice bronzer for a nice sun-kissed  glow to your complexion and a nice and sleek package to carry it on the go with you and the Body Oil is a nice intense moisturizer for your body especially if you’re some one like me with a supper dry skin. You can find both of these products online at Beautycounter.com
