I just received a few of the summer beauty items from Marc Jacobs beauty this season and I think all the pieces are quite amazing and beautiful! They are designed to get that perfect summer glam glow for face and lips. These new launches are permanent and you can get your hands to them all year-long. These new launches includes:

O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect Tan in Tantalize is a matte bronzer that comes in a universal shade to enhance all skin tones. This is a really good nice matte bronzer that doesn’t oxidize on the skin. Marc Beauty’s bronzer is new to me and as a long time lover for Hoola Bronzer from Benefit cosmetics I feel I’m truly getting into this bronzer. It carries a supper smooth finish and looks very natural on skin but buildable. You can really work with the shade to enhance and sculpt the over all look. I always love to wear matte finish bronzer since I most of the times use a bronzer to sculpt my face. I absolutely love the white packaging! It comes in mega mirror compact case which is super easy to dig in with a bigger bronzing brush.

Here is a quick swatches of some of my favorite bronzers compared with the O!Mega Bronzer in Tantalize and I find Hoola and Sun Stalk’s in Shady Biz are pretty identical, where if have tried the Victoria Backham bronzer (limited edition) in shade Java carries a slightly cooler tone. And the Givenchy Healthy Glow Bronzer has a more glow. Yet I find the O!Mega Bronzer is the most pigmented bronzer between all of them.
Up next is the new Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter in Tantalize is a lightweight coconut infused gel highlighter. I have had my eyes on this for a very long time, I have had heard some really good reviews on its formula. This can be applied directly to the skin or added into foundation or primer for a universal flattering glow. This is probably one of my favorite items when it comes to bronzing, the good thing about this product is that is super easy to use while you really achieve that perfect bronzed skin look.
Blended heavily
The texture is shimmery while its easy to build the coverage. It dries down to the skin and makes this highlighter to last longer on skin. This Dew Drops do come in couple of different shades and I find this Tantalize shade is so pretty and perfect product to achieve that sun-kissed glow in just minutes. The shimmer finish with a gel like texture is easy to build and once its sets its budge-proof. It does carries a wonderful coconut scent.
Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer Lipgloss (C$37.00 for 0.6 oz/ 5 mL) was one of the most exciting beauty products for me when I got my hands on them. They’re high-shine lip glosses in countable shades. This is not a new product probably many of you are familiar to the product. There are quite a huge range of shades and colors from soft nudes, feminine pinks, coral, plums and bolder shades with different finishes. The texture feel like some thing between jelly and cream with a smooth lush cushiony glossy feel. The pigment is sheer to medium coverage. Some you can wear alone while other are best to wear with a lipstick or lip liner. The formula is infused with apricot and passionfruit and feel super hydrating. From the collection I received three shades which includes:
- 382 Sugar High is a nice soft peachy pink with a hint of shimmer, with a medium coverage and can be worn alone.
- 346 Rah Rah! – opaque light melon, with medium coverage and ultra smooth finish.
- 316 French Tickler – iridescent peach pink with tiny champagne shimmers, sheer coverage and would add a nice shine to the lips and for me works best layered over other lipstick or lip liner.
Enamored in Rah Rah
I’m more like a lip balm kind of girl but I have a weakness when it comes to glosses and one of the mean reasons why don’t wear gloss is my little three kids. I’m constantly in contact with them (kissing them), so glosses don’t last long on my lips. But I love to wear them when it comes to events and especial occasions, I feel glosses adds so much to your over all look.
The packaging is quite sleek looking and comes in rounded square tube with flexible sponge-tip applicator. I have been playing with these lip glosses for the past week and in terms of lasting power lasted for several hours without fading or budging if your lips go untouched. They have pretty much the same decent lasting power and stays input, keeping in mind that they do transfer to your cloths. What I love about the formula is that its non-sticky and the texture makes them to be budged-proof. I’ve been reaching out to Sugar Hight and Rah Rah more often for the coverage and pigment it offers.
Last but not least the Youthquake Hydra-full Retexturizing Gel Crème Moisturizer (C$79.00 for 1.7 oz/ 50 mL) is a super hydrating and smooth feeling moisturizer. This Crème is formulated with powerful pineapple enzymes and encapsulated sodium hyaluronate which works towards hydration and retexturing the complexion. This is designed for all skin types especially those who suffer from dryness. It dry down to a super silky finish without feeling heavy or greasy on skin. The overall texture and feel is very lightweight and easy to blend and absorbs fast. I have a super dry skin and always in seek of hydrating moisturizer while not to feel too heavy. I have introduced this into my nightly routine for and extra hydration and plumpness and believe it or not I do wake up with a super smooth skin in the morning. I been missing on my weekly masking due to trips I make into the hospital due to my dad’s condition but this have been a saviour for my skin for the past couple of weeks now. This makes a perfect base for your makeup and works great as a primer for your foundation.
Overall I think there’s lots to love with all these new offerings from the brand. I have a huge crush on their packaging as well the formula. O!Mega Bronzer is some thing I will be reaching out all year-long, it’s a perfect bronzer with a super neutral undertone, just a bit on warmer side. Besides I love every thing about that compact. The Dew Drop in Tantalizer is also one of the most amazing bronzers to get that sheen, silky finish skin with minimal effort. And if you like high shine glosses with sheer to medium coverage I think you’ll definitely find a colour to suit your taste from the Enamored Hi-Shine collection. The shades are perfect for that effortless glow and wash of color that crave during summer time. Youthquake Gel Crème is going to be another moisturizer that would be loved by me for a very long time, I loved the super hydrating and buttery texture while its sets light on skin.
