There are some new items from Urban Decay Cosmetics that just launched! Today I have the four newly launched beauty items from the Stay Naked line which includes the Stay Naked Weightless Liquid Foundation, Stay Naked Correcting Concealer + Stay Naked The Fix, and Stay Naked Threesome Blush. I have had my eyes on these for quite some time now. I have been a long-time lover of Urban Decay’s bases (foundation + Concealer), I was super excited to try out the new The Fix Powder Foundation that has been just released as a new addition to the line. I have been testing these for the past week now, where I will share my thoughts on the formulas, wear time, texture, and swatches here.
Up first is the new Stay Naked Weightless Foundation ($53.00) is a liquid foundation with medium coverage that offers a real-skin look finish. The texture is matte while it stays up to 24 hours. It’s designed for all skin textures from dry to oily but with a little help for dry skin. This is probably one of the brands that carry a great range of colors in their collection and yet this one comes in 50 beautiful shades to enhance all skin tones from lightest to darkest. The formula is quite nice with a lightweight fluid texture which offers that quite a natural look with just one to two pumps. It blends pretty well into the skin flawlessly without streaking. It even out the skin beautifully but does not cover everything. It doesn’t set on fine lines and pores at all. I got to try this in 31NN which is a good match for my skin at the moment.
For me, the formula is on the drier side and it could be due to the dry winter months. I also found using a setting spray before application helped me to wear the foundation without feeling dry. I personally don’t like a foundation with natural coverage that carries a matte finish. It doesn’t do much for me. I don’t know someone with oily skin would feel in the natural-looking matte formula but for me, I like natural glowing skin. The packaging is quite unique and lightweight as well.
Up next is the Stay Naked Correcting Concealer ($38.00) is a super pigmented and lightweight concealer that covers all imperfections. The concealer is full coverage and comes in an ultra-pigmented formula that is invisible on the skin. I have been a long-time lover of their Naked Skin Concealer and is one of my all-time favorite formulas to date. I found this one to cover almost everything while looks seamless on skin and lightweight. I absolutely love the texture, it’s not too thick and too runny. The collection comes in 25 shades to cover all skin tones and designed for all skin textures.
I received this in 20NN which I found to be a little too light for my complexion. It comes in a nice lightweight packaging with a sponge wave tip applicator for easy application while it takes out a good amount of product. The flat side applies the concealer precisely while the curved side gives a heavier dose of product for more coverage.
Stay Naked The Fix Powder Foundation ($53) was on my radar this season and I was super excited to try out this new version of Stay Naked base. As many of you know I’m extremely picky when it comes to powder in general but powder foundations are one of the most loved powders from me. This Stay Naked The Fix Powder Foundation is a weightless long-wear foundation with a sheer to medium coverage that melts into the skin for a real like skin finish. It liberally blurs out everything and feels like a silky canvas on skin. Its formulated with moringa seed oil that offers anti-aging benefits.
The compact comes in a square mirrored compact and it has a compartment at the bottom for a square sponge. Yet the sponge itself is interesting – charcoal-infused sponge which is something new to me but if found it’s a sponge that really absorbs the oils of skin so skin looks super fresh all the time. I love to apply my powder with a fluffy round brush which really gives me that nice natural finish.
Stay Naked Threesome Blush, Bronzer, & Highlighter Palette ($50.00) is a 3-in-1 complexion compact that comes in blush, bronzer, and highlighter. This one has been reformulated and now comes in a much softer texture than before. This Stay Naked Threesome Blush, Bronzer, & Highlighter collection comes in three shades to enhance all skin tones which includes:
- Rise – comes in pale bronzer shade, peachy shimmer highlighter, bright pink blush.
- Naked – comes in with a medium bronzer, soft gold highlighter, and a classic pink blush.
- Fly – that comes in deep bronzer shade, rich gold highlighter, and with a terracotta pink blush.
I received it in Naked which I find to match my skin tones pretty well. I have been a long-time lover of Urban Decay’s blush formulas yet this one is an upper hit for me again. The powder itself feels silky and blends beautifully. I absolutely love the combination of the colors together, you can where then solo or combined for a nice overall glow.
Bottom line – I loved both Stay Naked Foundation and Concealer in terms of lasting power and for its finish but I felt it was a bit too drying for my skin during the wintertime. I’ll definitely use it once the weather feels a bit warmer. while I absolutely loved the concealer and The Fix foundation powder. The powder I was able to wear it during these dry months without feeling dry, which tells me a lot about how I can reach out to this powder more frequently all season long. Yet Stay Naked Threesome Blush, Bronzer, and Highlighter Palette have always been there but now with a newer look. You can now find all the newness from the brand in-store and online at Sephora and Urbandecay.ca.
