PÜR Cosmetics have just released some makeup and skin care products this season. I have had used PÜR Cosmetics makeup line before and loved it. These new additions looked very interesting to me, and some have become a must have in my makeup drawer. These new additions consists of foundation sticks, setting powder and lipstick, they’re also introducing a new mask.
Up first is the PÜR 4-in-1 Foundation Stick (C$44.00) which is a cream to velvet matte foundation stick with medium to full coverage. I personally love stick foundations for the fact that it offers a high coverage without feeling heavy on the skin. These stick foundations are designed to be used as a highlighter or contour cream stick but it works really good to cover all the imperfection of the skin, it blends beautifully with a minimum product used. A little goes a long way with this foundation, and it’s formulated with age-defying Ceretin Complex and skin nourishing Energy complex which helps color correct and brighten the appearance of uneven skin tone. It also helps skin retain hydration and reduce the look of pores. These Foundation sticks are also infused with green tea and vitamin B to help skin boost the skin’s natural metabolism and rejuvenate the look of skin. Skin looks smoother and lifted, while it blurs the look of pores instantly.
These stick foundations comes in 12 different shades. I’ve been using the Porcelain shade, and I found this product very exceptional. Both Light (pink undertone) and Porcelain (yellow undertone) matches my skin, but I always prefer to wear shade with yellow under tone. I have been wearing it on daily basis and it sets beautifully on skin when applied with finger tips. I have been applying it by warming the foundation with my finger tips and then applied it to the area that need more coverage and slowly blending it to other parts and the results is seamless and blends out to a perfect finish to my skin. Using the stick directly to the complexion creates a thick illusion that doesn’t look flattering. The lasting power is pretty amazing.
Up next is the PÜR 4-in-1 Lip duo (C$29.00) is a hydrating and conditioning lipstick that carries a semi matte stain on one side and nourishing lip oil of the other side, it gives a lips that perfect finish. The texture is super creamy with a semi matte finish. I have been loving it for the fact that you can wear it in two different ways and its so easy to transform your matte lipstick to a very high shine and glossy lipstick within one more application. The lipstick is transfer-resistant with an amazing lasting power. You can also wear the lip oil alone or on top of your lipstick, the lip oil offer a very high shine that gives that glass finish look.
This lip duo comes in great range of shades and colors mostly beautiful nudes and dark vampy shades that I think we all love to wear. I received it in Single 4 Tonight shade which is a beautiful red with blue undertone. It has become on of my most favorite shade and formula for the fact that it’s non transferable and with the top coat it finishes to a nice glass finish that is so beautiful.
Pür Translucent Loose Setting Powder (C$39.00) is a light weight setting powder that helps prevent your makeup from caking and creasing. Although I don’t set my foundation with any kind of setting powders just for the fact that it makes my skin dryer and I like the dewy finish. But when I do loose powders are my first choice. The powder is fluffy and translucent with matte finish. it does set the foundation seamlessly and won’t set on pore and fine lines. I like to sett my powder with my damp beautyblender to the parts that I really want to lock in my foundation or swipe it all over my face with a large fluffy powder brush. I wasn’t a big fun of the sponge applicator that is attached in the cap, it’s a bit bulky to my taste. But loved the overall packaging with big lid where you can easily get a perfect amount of product to your brush and beautybleander.
PÜR Cosmetics also introduces the Purple Pore Punisher (C$36.00) which is formulated with Charcoal to help skin detoxify by purging impurities that causes dull looking complexion. It’s also infused with witch hazel to help pore tighten without stripping your skin. Skin immediately looks lifted and clean. This Purple Pore Punisher is great to draw out any impurities and detoxifies the skin for a more clear and smooth looking skin. Although I don’t have large pores to begin with but I found this mask really helps to tighten some of the pores that are located at my top of the nose and some on my cheeks. It also helps the skin to get hydrated and look plumed. I have been using it only once a week and it does makes a huge difference to your overall look.
At the end these new additions from PÜR Cosmetics are truly amazing. The new stick foundations is amazing especially when you want that natural finish, application can be tricky but warming up the product with your finger tips really makes a huge difference. The Duo Lip liner is one of my must have products, it does eel dry on lips while it stays all day (night) looking fresh. Also the Setting Powder is fluffy and sets the foundation nicely without defining the fine lines or wrinkles. And we all love our mask, especially the ones that looks after our pores.
