Nars cosmetics just launched an exciting extension to their lip pencils Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (C$33.00 each). These are highly pigmented lip pencils with a velvety matte finish and comes in 10 bold, versatile and beautiful shades. If you’re new to these lip pencils, these are like chubby stick lipsticks with supper lightweight yet full coverage texture. These came in Satin finish a while back, which I was a big fan of them. They’re supper easy to apply and stays for a long period of time. I was very excited to find out that they’re now available in matte finish as well. Having a smooth lip surface is must to wear these.
The collection carries a great range of beautiful shades from pink and peachy nudes to edgy and bold colors. I receive four beautiful shades from the brand for reviewing purposes. And I was very happy that I could pull of all these shades beautifully with my skin tone.

- Intriguing – is a rose-pink color, which is a perfect every day nude lip color.
- Lonely Heart – is a dark chocolate-brown color. Definitely a must have, and a trendy color.

Overall I have been loving these lipstick for the fact that is easy to apply and carry with you while on the go. I’m a huge chubby stick lover all my life and it’s great to add some new shades to my chubby stick lipstick collection. As well as I have been using them as my lip liner for my lipsticks to make a nice ombre effect while it keeps my lipsticks for a longer period of time.
