Glow Reciepe | Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask, Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser, Watermelon Pink Juice Oil-Free Moisturizer & Mask

Glow Recipe’s beauty products were buzzing around my earing for quite some time. I have been hearing about their Water Melon sleeping mask from my beauty blogger friends and sisters. Yet finally I was super excited to find out that the brand was available at Sephora Canada and they were kind enough to invite me to their press preview of the brand. And everyone was welcomed by Sarah Lee. Here I have some highlights from the event.

The event was really pulled together and the C.E.O Sarah is a fabulous lady. I literally had to look at her skin over and over – she looked flawless. The while patio was filled with their skincare products to test. All their products come in a nice thick colored glass jar and containers that represent the fruit they’re infused with. All their products have been listed under Sephora’s clean beauty products.

Here is a list of what I got to try from the brand:

The Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask (C$56.00 for 0.5 oz./ 15mL) is a gentle treatment formulated with avocado, encapsulated retinol, and PHA to help nourish and calm skin. This mask is designed mainly for dry to normal skin types and really looks after the dryness at once. The texture of this mask is super rich and it gets into the skin while leaving a thick filter on the skin. And since it’s formulated with encapsulated retinol it’s super gentle on most sensitive skin, this means that retinol sits on the surface of the skin for a longer period of time and release smaller amounts all night. I’m definitely not a huge fan of retinol products in general but this has left a different impression on me.

The formula is also infused with rich ingredients like avocado with is rich in antioxidants which helps fight wrinkles while it nourishes the skin. While the PHA (Polyhydroxy Acid) gently exfoliates the complexion during sleep and you wake up with much softer and smoother skin.

This one is a little rich but if you have normal-dry skin or don’t mind something a bit sticky this one is a great mask. It’s a mask that pretty much does everything for you, removes dry patches, and smoothes the skin. I’m asleep mask fanatic and super picky with any kind of texture or ingredients or how it feels like on skin with I fall asleep. I have been loving it for the past two weeks that I have been testing.

I have introduced it twice a week for the last two weeks and I have seen an incredible change in my overall look of the skin. Even my sisters have been telling me how plump and glowing my skin looks. I definitely wake up with refreshed skin and more plump/ultra-smooth skin the next morning.

Here is a look at their Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask (C$59.00 for 2.7 oz./ 80mL) is a radiance booster night sleeping mask that is formulated with hyaluronic acid and AHAs that gently exfoliate and fine the look of pores. It’s designed for all skin textures and carries a jelly-like texture. This one has become a favorite of mine, it adds a nice bounce and locks in moisture to the skin.

This is definitely a glow in a jar! It really smooths out the skin and adds and smells delicious.

Next is the Watermelon Pink Juice Oil-Free Moisturizer (C$50.00 for 2 oz./60 mL) is a super brightening lightweight moisturizer that is formulated with hyaluronic acid. I personally love a super thick and rich moisturizer to protect my skin from dryness but this one is lightweight yet gives that super hydration I need for the day. It’s also infused with watermelon extract and is designed for all types of skin texture. The texture feels like jelly and gets into the skin immediately. I have loved how it really boosts radiance and the skin looks glowing.

And for the fact that its oil-free, this makes a perfect base for your foundation as well as perfect for hot summer days.

Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser (C$45.00 for 5.41 oz./ 160 mL) is a gentle cleanser that removes makeup while it’s packed with antioxidants and hyaluronic acid and gentle AHAs. I do use and love gel cleanser almost all the time and gel cleansers are the only ones that I use more than one time per day. I do start the morning with a cleanse which includes my gel cleanser. Finding a good cleanser that is effective but gentle enough is essential so it doesn’t irritate the skin. This one I found that works great and doesn’t dry out the skin while it gently exfoliates the skin by removing the dead surface skin cells for brighter and smoother skin every time over time. The formula is also packed with nourishing oils to remove makeup which adds another plus point.

These products have definitely been added to my favorites and I have already been reaching out to the most of the time. It’s hard to pick one favorite product from the brand, I find the products are quite effective and gentle. They’re priced very well, where I see you can really reach out to good skincare products. If you’re in the market for good skincare products I would highly recommend testing a couple of items from the range and I’m sure you’re going to love it. At the moment Sephora is running their annual Holiday Event Beauty Rouge Sale where you can get the advantage. I would highly recommend their Watermelon range if you’re starting with the brand. And for the holiday season, they have introduced some amazing limited edition kits which I find is quite nice.
