Clé de Peau Beauté introduced a newly formulated and relaunched their bestseller concealer with a whole new look. If you’re not familiar to Cle De Peau Beaute’s concealer SPF 25 broad spectrum (C$95 for 5g), this is a long-lasting full coverage stick concealer that covers every thing without a heavy finish. It have been one of my favorite formulas when it comes to concealers, you can basically conceal any imperfections of the complexion with this concealer while the skin looks smooth and flawless.
The newly formulated carries that high coverage texture with added sunscreen (broad spectrum UV protection SPF 25 PA +++) to protect the under eye area from the sun damage. It comes in six shades to cover all skin tones. The formula also contains skincare ingredients such as Chestnut Rosa Fruit Extract, Green Tea Extract which is filled with antioxidants. I received the new formula in Beige which is a pretty good match to my skin. I have had used the original formula in Ocher and Honey. I love to use Ocher to cover spot and Honey which carries a more peachy tone as a corrector for under my eye area.
Although the pervious packaging was totally luxurious looking but they managed to elevate the look by adding some new touches to the packaging, like the gold detailing adds to its appeal.
The lasting power is amazing, it blends beautifully and stays input all day long without sliding or creasing. I found the new formula is more pigmented and emollient. I personally love to apply the product by warming it with my finger tip and then apply it on the effected areas as a spot treatment or under eye area. This concealer performs the best when worn as a corrector or alone to create that makeup no makeup look. This is one of the concealers that you don’t need or you don’t want to set it with powder, it stays up and fresh.
This concealer is one of the holy grail concealer, a little goes a long way and definitely worth the price. Finding a good concealer is not an easy task especially when there is a huge selection to chose from. I was really happy and impressed with the new formula and selection of shades.
