Cle de Peau beaute always introduces the prettiest Holiday Collection all the time and this year they have taken the collection to highest level. The collection contain some beautiful and must have pieces from skin care to beauty products including Limited Edition of Lipstick Cashmere (C$65 each). The packaging, presentation and formula is quite exquisite – the lipsticks comes in a beautiful and cute baby pink packaging associated with gold detailing and inside the twister is designed with the whimsical in pale green. The Lipstick Cashmere holiday edition only comes in two shades:
- Follow Me 504 is a perfect beige nude
- Paint Me 505 is a beautiful bright cool plum with blue under tone
The lipsticks are highly pigmented with a soft matte texture. The formula is creamy and glide on to the lips effortlessly. The lasting powder is quite amazing while it doesn’t feel dry on the lips at all. I have reviewed Cle de Peau Beaute’s Holiday Collection in 2016 which I still truly love and admire them. I find both shades are truly beautiful and must have, I have a fair skin with yellow under tone where most of the time I prefer wearing warm tones to complement my skin. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Paint Me really suited my skin tone and give me that edgy look. I actually got quite some complements when I wore in a party on the weekend.
The lipstick itself is designed to fit into the lips perfectly while it adds a twist in the whole look of lipstick. As a nude lover I found the Follow Me 504 is a perfect nude that can go with any skin tone and will really complement the skin and final look while the Paint Me is a beautiful bright plum shade with a blue under tone which makes this shade cooler, it really complemented my skin tone and it will look really nice with pink and yellow under tone skin but I’m really not sure with olive under skin tone, that’s some thing you need to try personally.
