YSL Beauty just introduced Black Opium Eau de Parfum Intense (C$117.00 for 50 mL and C$164.00 for 90 mL Made in France) which is a newer version of the Black Opium. This is a little more intense and bolder than the original formula with a warm and spicy style.

As many of you know I’m a very floral fragrance lover but I found this to be one of the fragrances that picks up the mood with opening notes of adrenaline-rich coffee. You can really feel the soft notes of the Orange Blossom at the same time. I definitely loved the combination of the notes. I have a very sensitive nose and some of really intense and bold fragrance do make me stay away from them. But I totally loved the sharp but soft scent of this Parfum. This was my first time trying the YSL Parfum and I must say I’m addicted. At this stage I really want to try the original scent to compare the difference.
The bottle carries the same classic look of the Black Opium with dark blue shimmers and the bottle is lit up from inside with the mesmerizing light blue of the fragrance.
Parfume is one of the beauty products that are very personal and is best to shop in person but at the same time its a perfect way to present a gift to some one dear to heart.
