Bite Beauty|Matte Creme Lip Crayon

Bite Beauty b

The Bite Beauty’s Lip Crayon (C$28 each for 1.56 g) have been on my radar for quite some time, I have had purchased the Blood Orange for the first time last spring since orange shade was in trending for spring/summer last year and this was one of the oranges I found was stunning and was complementing my skin tone but unfortunately some how I miss placed it. Today I had a short visit to Sephora and since they had rearranged their beauty counters, Bite Beauties counter was arranged just in-front of the entrance where all the beautiful bright colours caught my eyes and I couldn’t resist to get my hands on beautiful shades in the collection. There are five gorgeous matte shades with superior hydration.

  • Pastille
  • Red Velvet
  • Blood Orange
  • Rosehip
  • Pink Lady

This Bite Beauty’s collection carries beautiful Pinks, bright reds and deep burgundies with a matte finish yet moist texture to keep the lips well hydrated. They are highly pigmented full coverage lip crayons which feels soft and glides on effortlessly on lips. They smell deliciously amazing, I am not sure about you guys but for me the smell really contributes a huge role when I am wearing lipstick. I like that it’s a twist up formula so there’s no sharpening required. All crayons is water-resistant, where it stays longer on lips.
The lasting power is good, I didn’t experience any smudges or bleeding while I was wearing.  I do find these doesn’t dry compare to the Nars Lip Crayons. I totally in love with the shades, even though I like colours with shine and some transparency during spring/summer time specially when I am out of the house with my kids versus the rich pigment full coverage kind of colours since they often look flat, but I found that these were wearable, and gives an outstanding beauty to the lips.

Bottom line, this is pure love for me. It was really hard for my to pick a shade since all of them were a must have for me. You can differently mix and match to create a ombre effect, especially the Rosehip and Red Velvet creates a perfect ombre effect.
You can find these in store and online at
