Spring finally arrived at our coast and at this time of the year, I get to like anything that relates to florals. I get to find more floral dresses to wear, as well as I like to shift my perfumes to something more floral. I love trying new perfumes and I have a couple of classic scents that always stay in my stash. I have a new scent to share with you today plus my husband’s go-to scent for this spring.
I love to wear floral scents all year long with a hint of notes each season to make them perfect for me depending on my mood. For me, it’s either hit or miss when it comes to fragrances, if I don’t like something on its first try, it never makes it to my vanity. Perfume is something that smells different for everyone and can mix with your body’s chemistry. I love to layer my fragrances so that I get a signature scent.
Givenchy L’Interdit Édition Millésime Nocturnal Jasmine Eau De Parfum
Givenchy L’Interdit Édition Millésime Nocturnal Jasmine Eau De Parfum is a new scent that has been addictive and has that nice rich floral scent yet is warm. Givenchy Fragrances are quite addictive and the lasting power is quite amazing. It has top notes such as Indian Jasmine with a blend of spice and the warmth of apricot, making this fragrance different from others. Givenchy’s L’Interdit Edition Millesime Eau de Parfum (reviewed here) was one of my all-time favourite fragrances last year and probably the most reached one. The new addition is definitely a new favourite for the season.
The new L’Interdit Édition Millésime carries the same iconic packaging with a black label and red signature that makes it different than the other ones. I’ve linked both of my favourites from the line below.

Givenchy Gentleman Eau de Parfum Réserve Privée
Givenchy Gentleman Eau de Parfum Réserve Privée is a nice and warm woody ambery scent with a hint of spicy note. The scent is rich and offers that nice signature scent. This one is the fourth version of this Gentleman cologne that Givenchy has offered. The notes are very well put together and are addictive. Here are some of the notes that I love in this scent.

- Iris
- Cedarwood
My husband has been loving the older version of Gentleman Eau de Toilette Intense (reviewed here) and has been reaching out mostly since last year. The new scent is much warmer and richer than the Intense formula. The packaging carries the same look but smoked finish glass to present that rich woody scent it offers.
I & my husband both are hooked on these scents and I think we’re going to really enjoy these pleasant warm woody floral scents for this season. What’s your favourite floral scent this year?
