Milk Makeup | Sculpt Cream Contour Stick Collection Review

Trying out the Milk Makeup for the first time and I was supper excited to try and swatch the entire Sculpt Cream Contour Stick Collection with you all. I have been hearing ladies raving about milk makeup, which made me tempted to find the hype behind the brand and its products. The Milk Makeup team was kind enough to send me some stables from the brand such as the Hydro Grip Hydrating Makeup Primer, Hydro Grip 12HR Dewy Priming Spray, Lip & Cheek Blush and KUSH High Roll Lengthening Smudge-Proof Tubing Mascara. I am always into trying new beauty products that would work the best for my dry skin.

The Sculpt Cream Contour Stick is a soft matte contour sticks formula that is easy to apply and blend to add extra dimension to the complexion. The formula is light and is infused with Sunflower Seed Oil which smooths and calms the skin. I find the color selection is more into the cooler side – although some might look a little warmer but overall once applied on the skin it brings out the cooler shade which mimics the natural shadows of the complexion.

  • Smolder is designed for fair skin tones
  • Toasted is perfect for someone with light skin tone
  • Stoked is designed for medium toned skin
  • Flicker is a tan shade which I’ve been using it since i’ve got my hands on it
  • Simmer for deeper skin toned complexion
  • Sizzle is a very deep shade

The lasting power is really good for a cream product. It stays in place for a good amount of time. Although i don’t set anything with powder anymore as my skin doesn’t tolerate powder anymore but I went over with my bronzing powder very lightly to add warmth and it stayed very well through out the day. I’ve been loving the stick formulation for the fact that is easy to apply and stays very well on my dry skin. The pigment overall blends out to a very natural finish.

The product looks quite small and seems to carry less product compare to other contour stick formulas but in compare to the price for that specific product it is well priced. I’ve been loving the shade Flicker on my skin tone. Its slightly a little bit deep but i like adding a little more depth on my complexion.

I did find opening the product has a trick otherwise you might ruin the product –  Twist product up half-an-inch with protective disk still on. Then gently twist disk off, don’t flick or pull!

The Lip & Cheek Blush has the same concept yet these comes in different shades and are multi-use cream product that you can use to add a flush of color to the lips and cheeks. The formula is nourishing and blends easily for a nice natural look. I got to try them in two beautiful shades:

  • Werk which is a beautiful dusty rose with satin finish and perfect for every day wear
  • Quickie is a gorgeous deep berry shade but blends to be a perfect natural looking shade

I also got to try their primers which every one has been talking about. I absolutely loved the setting spray as I’ve not been a primer girl at all but setting spray I can see and feel the difference right away. The Hydro Grip Hydrating Makeup Spray sets the makeup in place + it really holds the makeup very well by end of the day. I tried the Hydro Grip Hydrating Makeup Primer really holds the makeup nicely in place yet I have to put a little more into the test on how well the holds the makeup in couple of more weeks. Both primer is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid + Niacinamide which means they offer skincare benefits at the same time.

Last but not least the KUSH High Roll Lengthening Smudge-Proof Tubing Mascara is a water-resistant and smudge proof mascara that adds length to the lashes without any flakes or smears. For me the applicator really plays a huge roll on how my lashes going to look. I loved that it separates lashes and gives lashes nice long look yet i found the volumizing is pretty decent. The formula is also quite nice and nourishing.

You can find some of the best seller from the brand linked blow.
