Nars introduced limited edition face palettes Hot Escape Cheek and Face Palette $67.00 that is inspired by the South of France. These face palettes comes in 3 different palettes that contains blush, bronzer and highlighter to enhance all skin tone. The palettes been curetted the way that the shades works great on different skin tones and textures. The formula is silky and blend able and glides on smoothly over the skin. Today I have two compact to share with you, here is a closer look into the compacts:
II Medium Compact:
– Dominant which is the matte warn pink blush
– Topless is a nice shimmering pink coral blush
– Electra is a champagne shade highlighter
– Laguna 03 is a light medium shade bronzer with warm undertones.
III Medium Deep Compact:
– Obsession is a matte papaya coral blush
– Night Swim is a beautiful shimmering burnished ruby blush
– Skinny Dip is an Iridescent gold highlighter
– Laguna 06 is the deep bronze shade with warm undertones
The compacts has been designed very well to enhance all skin tones accordingly. For me, II Medium Compact works the best as the shades works quite well on my skin tones and I love to wear pink and coral shades during the summer season. I love that you can use this palette for all over the face (eyes, cheeks) and you can create many beautiful looks. There is a Light compact that is gorgeous for lighter skin tones. But the III Medium Deep Compact is one of the prettiest face compact I’ve seen by far. I know that this is designed for deep dark skin but this will be my favorite eye palette. The shimmers and the matte shades well designed and creates so many gorgeous eye looks. I don’t like to wear color on my eyes most of the times but these four shades are to perfection.
Nars also introduced Limited Edition shades to their Afterglow Sheer Lip Oil Collection $38. I am huge fan of their lip products specially lip oils and glosses. The lasting power is average as any other lip oil but it immediately adds hydration and give lips that nice jelly finish look.
I received the shade wondrous which is a beautiful raspberry shade and the Laguna shade I had this shade from pervious collection which is one of my favorite lip oils to wear during the summer season. Here is a quick swatches to the two shades.
Overall, I love the palettes and the color selection on each palette. The formulation of the products are the best, offering the best pigment, long lasting finish and color payout. I’ve linked some of my favorite items from the brand below for you.
