YSL Beauty launched a new blush collection Make Me Blush – Bold Blurring Blush ($61.00) and they are stunning. They are ultra silky powder blushes that are blurring the look of pores and imperfections. Spring is my favorite season when it comes to makeup launches. I love to play with vibrant and colorfull shades and these are one of the best launches of the year.
There are 8 shades in the collection that comes in satin and matte finishes which i must say – I love both formulas of blushes. Today I have 3 shades from the collection to swatch for you here.
You can wear these with alone or layer it on top of liquid blush to add a nice flush of color to the complexion. Do they emphasize pores? in my opinion not as much as normally the satin or shimmery finish powder formulas do. The texture is super smooth and shimmers are unreal, it has a soft sheen to it. It feels feather light on the skin but beautiful and most of all this formula is waterproof and seat proof so it has a long lasting power. Here is a closer look into these blushes:
- Berry Band is a beautiful pink berry shade with matte finish
- Nude Lavalliere the iconic dusty pink shade in satin finish
- Restless Rose is a peachy pink in satin finish
The formula is pigmented so a little goes a long way plus it has a buildable coverage that you can really wear it bold.
I really like these new blushes from YSL. The color range is fun and subtle to wear. I am 42 and the shade range is wearable at any age. I am a blush girl and I can’t decide on which shade is my favorite as all 3 has different tones and cold be worn with different makeup looks.
when it comes to presentation, YSL beauty comes with the best and luxurious packaging all the time and yet these are collection able collection that comes in a heavy leather packaging.
