I am excited to share a look at the latest from YSL Beauty with you all. I’ve been eyeing on this Lash Clash Mascara for quite some time and I really wanted to see the hype. I believe the Deep Black shade was introduced last year and they just added two new shades (Uninhibited Brown which is a deep brown and Electric Blue which is a nice cobalt blue) to the collection.
The packaging is really luxurious as YSL Beauty always brings the best packaging with black and gold logo which makes is look really chic. I’ve used YSL Beauty’s mascaras before such as Faux Cils before but this is to the next level. The applicator is designed with an oversized double-conical brush in a way that grabs lashes and extend them to maximize the volume and length of the lashes. I was pleasantly surprised to find it very easy to build without making them look clumpy as well as there is no smudging with this one. It stays so well on the lashes entire day even though the formula is not waterproof … Normally I have to bake my eye lid in order to wear mascara for entire day as it gets smudged over my eyelid but I have not experienced anything with this to date.
This mascara offers a clean polished defined look to the eyes. You can build the volume by layer it for more dramatic look. I’ve been reaching out to the brown shade for daily looks and Deep Black for evening looks. I am very excited to wear the Electric Blue one during the summer days.
