There are quite some new summer launches from YSL beauty yet here are some of the newness from their makeup and skincare products. I have had my eyes over these products from their launch date and super excited to try them out. This review post is covering:
Touche Éclat 3D Radiant Shaper (C$60) is an allover glow powder that comes in one universal shade. It carries micro simmers in its formula that evens out the skin and adds a nice glowing veil all over the complexion.
The formula is lightweight and carries slightly a beachy nude glow that blurs out imperfections and adds a nice subtle tan finish. This is something that you can set your foundation or another base with it or wear alone for extra radiance both ways it looks beautiful. The glow is very subtle that offers a very natural glow that comes from within.
The compact is just stunning and carries that super sleek finish with baby pink and gold details on its top that is admirable. The compact carries a full-size mirror and a small touchup brush that is placed under the compact which is perfect for touch-ups while on the go. While the powder itself is designed with symmetrical lines and the brand’s logo that makes it even more pretty. The compact fits nicely in any makeup bag.
Pure Shots Light Up Serum (C$120 for 30mL) is a brightening facial serum that is loaded with vitamin C. It evens out the skin texture, brightens dark spots, and evens out the complexion over time. The collection comes in four deferent formulas:
- Pure Shots Light Up Serum with Marshmallow + Vitamin C is designed to brighten, add radiance, and even out the dark spots.
- Pure Shots Lines Away Serum with Iris + Hyaluronic Acid is designed to target fine lines and wrinkles for a softer and smoother complexion.
- Pure Shots Night Reboot Serum with Moonlight Cactus + Glycolic Acid is designed to significantly renews and refines skin overnight.
- Pure Shots Y Shape Serum with Barbary Fig + Peptide that is designed to recontour and to add firmness to the complexion.
You really see that immediate glow on skin within the use. The formula is hydrating and lightweight at the same time. It really gets into the skin immediately and I find it easy to wear under your foundation.
The packaging is at its finest. It’s refillable and the refills retail for (C$96.00 for 30 mL). The serum is infused with the optimal daily dose of Vitamin C in synergy with protecting Marshmallow from Morocco. As many of you know Vitamin C is one of the breakthrough formulas for more radiant and young-looking skin. I am a huge lover of Vitamin C serums yet all may not work with my skin. This one carries just the perfect amount of Vitamin C that is just perfect for daily use.
I have been introducing it into my daily skincare routine and I do see and feel that recharge on my skin every single day. I absolutely love the formula and the extra glow that adds to my skin.
At the end I find both products are well formulated and well priced. You are going to get what you want from these products. I absolutely love that nice natural glow that it adds on skin plus the packaging is just stunning. Yet the Pure Shot Light Up Serum is an amazing product that really performs well.
