Aerin have just introduced a new vibrant floral fragrance that takes your senses into the next level Aegea Blossom Eau De Parfum (C$142.00 for 1.7 oz/ C$245.00 for 3.4 oz made in USA). This is one of the most fresh and clean fragrances that I have tried by far. You guys all know I’m a floral fragrance addict and I feel like I’ve lived in floral scent all my life. And of course as usual my list is more extensive. I can not stick to one perfume just like I cannot have just one foundation or nude lipstick. I have some favorite notes that always keeps me hooked to the fragrances time to time.
This new addition from Aerin is one of the most luminous floral scents that is vibrant. Its inspired by blue seas, cool breezes and pure light on the open water.
- Sicilian Bergamot
- Neroli Petals
A vibrant floral fragrance that takes your senses on a voyage. Notes of Sicilian paired with crisp mandarin makes this fragrance brings more sophistication into it. I have been wearing this non-stop for the past four weeks now. The packaging carries the same iconic fragrance look with the a pale blue cap to bring freshness to the finish of the bottle. It’s absolutely a beautiful and amazing scent for the spring/summer 2019. You can layer it with any other fragrance easily, especially with the fragrance with Amber and Mandarin notes it goes quite well. I have had been wearing the Hibiscus Palm (reviewed here) last year and it’s still one of my favorite scents. This is one of the scents that I can wear it without giving it a second thought.
You can now find the new Aegea Blossom Eau de Parfum in store and online at Nordstrom, Sephora and Saks Fifth Avenue.
I have been obsessed over Nest Fragrances lately. I find Nest Fragrance to be among the very luxurious home scents. I discovered Nest Fragrance two years ago with I first got my hands to their Petite Diffuser Trio Set followed by their Pumpkin Chai Collection which hooked me into the brand forever. Yet this time they have just introduced the New Velvet Pear Collection that I received from their team. This luxury home fragrance collection carries a very fresh and fruity scent. Home fragrance comes in a number of options and formats. while I love burring candles during the fall and winter time for creating the perfect relaxed ambiance and diffusers during the spring and summer time while sprays are another option which I’m not a huge fan of.

Closer look at the Classic Candle
The Velvet Pear Collection scent is one of the most freshest home scents I’ve ever smelled. Its fresh citrus, crisp apple with a hint floral (peony) feel into it. Its also infused with white musk and amber, which is one of my favorite combination. It has Anjou Pear, Crisp Apple blended with crushed Lemon Leaves. The notes makes it carry a very streamline and clean scent. I’ve been loving the Classic Candles and the Classic Reed diffuser for my living rooms and bedrooms while I leave the mini Reed Diffuser inside my closets and bathrooms fills up the rooms pretty amazing (I’ve kept the mini reed diffuser bottles and I refill them time to time). The throw and lasting power of these fragrance is quite amazing and impressive.
Closer look at the Classic Reed Diffuser
Little details and touches make all the difference and I’m absolutely smitten with the clear and smoked white glass look. It gives a very clean finish look to the room. The Noir Rose Collection that I reviewed just couple months ago (here) is still one of my favorite scents for spring and the Classic Candle is still running in my bedroom.
This was my first time using their Silver Matchbox Holder that contained the Matches is absolutely an luxurious piece. It adds so much glam and clean look to the table top, with its super accessible to start burning your candle.
Bottom line, I’m impressed and every thing I’ve tried from Nest Fragrance so far is just exquisite. The scents are refreshing and long lasting. Im beyond thrilled with something simple yet so sophisticated that brings freshness and memorable scent to my home and life. The collection adds a enlighten touch to the home and I love that the scents carries a touch of floral note which is quite noticeable.
You can now find the Velvet Pear Collection at the Nest Fragrance website, also available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and online at Amazon.ca, Sephora.ca, Nordstrom.ca and Saks.ca.

Fenty Beauty launched their new Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzers (C$38.00 6.23g / 0.22 oz made in USA) just recently and these are hands down among the best bronzers I’ve tried so far. The collection comes in eight shades to serve all skin tones from lightest to deepest. And looking at them I find they come in warm and neutral under tones to really please all skin tones. I have been a long time lover for powder bronzers, I’m definitely a total bronzer addict and wear it all year-long even with a minimal or no makeup looks. I often wear matte finish bronzer with a creamy texture. The new Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzers have a nice matte texture without feeling dry or cakey. They blend beautifully with the skin, I have a very dry skin to begin but I manage to keep my skin’s hydration level high that some times during summer time I can consider my skin to be normal and some powders do emphasize lines and patches on my skin or my skin looks too dry. Not the case with these bronzers. They look incredibly natural on the skin and lasts all day long. I personally love powder bronzers since they really create the most natural looking illusion for contour.
They have a very rich pigment that easily smooths out and build. I received three shades from the collection to test. I think the shade range is quite amazing and for those who always have trouble finding a good bronzer, I think with this line you will be able to fins a good shade that won’t turn orange on your complexion. And definitely there are quite some amazing shades for deeper skin tones as well.
- Inda Sun – fair with neutral undertones
- Shady Biz – light with warm undertones
- Private Island – light to medium with warm undertones
The color is layerable but have a very natural finish. All swatches may look the same but there is a difference once applied. Inda Sun and Shady Biz are a bit too light for my skin tone but Private Island is a good color for my skin tone. Private Island do carry a very warm under tone which adds a very nice finish to the skin while it doesn’t turn orange at all. I have been layering the Inda Sun and Private Island to get a perfect contoured and bronzed look. They come in super sleek and shape with a bronzy golden metallic packaging.
I was also sent out their new Cheek Hugging Bronzer Brush 190 (C$45.00) which is an extra-large bronzer brush. Its designed to hug the curve of your face for an overall bronzed look. This brushed have an asymmetrical cut which makes it more ideal for an all over bronzed look. I have used their foundation and powder brush before and I find these are one of the most soft touch brushes I have ever used. I have a pretty small and round face frame which I found this Bronzer brush size was little too big. I was still able to manage to use the brush to bring warmth to my over all face.
Fenty Beauty slowly but surely getting over my beauty vanity. I have recently tried their foundation and concealer (reviewed here) which was a huge hit for me. Prior to testing these my top picks for bronzer included Benefit ‘s Hoola Bronzer, Givenchy’s Healthy Glow Powder (reviewed here) and Make Up For Ever’s Pro Bronze Fusion Bronzer. Yet at the moment Fenty Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzers joins my list for top picks. They are definitely one of the most natural looking bronzers that gives the skin a sunkissed glow. The color range give you a very decent options to pick from depending on how natural or deep you want your bronzer to look. I can really use all three shades depending on how deep I want my contour to be. I’ve been layering them on top of each other to get a more 3D effect.
You can now find the Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzers available in store and online at Sephora.
