Rodial | Snake Moisturiser O2 & Snake Eye Cream O2

Rodial skin care have just launched two new additions to their Snake skin care line this October, Snake Moisturiser O2 SPF 15 ($120 for 50ml) and Snake Eye Cream O2 ($95 for 15ml) this season. I’m a little particular on using the right serum and moisturiser for my complexion, cause I have a sensitive skin and most of the times my skin reacts quickly than many. The Snake line from Rodial skin care is like a “shot of caffeine” for the skin. Both products are lightweight and instantly firms and smooths the appearance fine lines and complexion. Although I haven’t developed fine lines yet but I found it really energies the skin for more radiant looking skin.
They come in a nice and sleek pump packaging, I think the black and silver color combination gives more character to the product itself. I personally always prefer to use the pump up packaging than the jar packaged products since it give me more control over the use of produc – plus it mess free and keeps the product safe from germs.

Snake Moisturiser O2

Snake Moisturiser O2 SPF 15 ($120 for 50ml) is a light weight moisturizer that targets to combat dullness, while it works on firming and revitalizing the skin’s appearance. The formula is very light and you can apply morning and night as your moisturizer. This Snake moisturizer is formulated with syn®-ake dipeptide which smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while keeps the skin well hydrated with the benefits of hyaluronic acid. It does carry SPF15 which provides broad spectrum daily protection against harmful UVA and UVB sunrays, I always prefer my moisturizer to contain a good amount of SPF, I find it not only it gives you sun exposure safety, it really helps with dark spots and slows down the skin’s aging process. The texture is rich yet velvety and it gets into the skin immediately and it doesn’t leave any oily residue to the skin. I would highly recommend it for some one with oily skin since it gives enough hydration to the skin yet it doesn’t feel any thing on skin. I found it was a little too strong for my taste, I don’t have a very dry and sensitive skin, and I like that extra creamy texture to last on my skin all day long. Although I felt it makes a good base for my makeup routine.

Snake Eye Cream O2

Snake Eye Cream O2 ($95 for 15ml) is a highly concentrated eye cream, the formula instantly tightens and firms the appearance of fine lines and expression lines around the eye area. The formula is light weight with a velvety texture containing the a double shot of our unique Syn®-Ake dipeptide which helps cool and de-puff the eye area. It’s infused with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C which helps to keep the area well hydrated and lighten dark circles. You can apply around the eye area and under the brow bone in the morning and night. I was very impressed with texture and result of this product. I do have dark circles which I always get to hide them, but I noticed a much improved under eye area after using it for couple of weeks now. The texture is a little more creamy that the Snake Moisturiser O2 SPF 15  which I was very pleased with it. One pump was good enough to cover both under eye area. 

Bottom line, Snake Moisturiser O2 SPF 15 and Snake Eye Cream O2 are highly concentrated yet light weight anti-aging skin care products. if you’re some one who wants to see a quick results to improve the appearance of your fine lines and wrinkles, I would totally recommend to try the Snake line from Rodial skin care.
