Make Up For Ever just launched their new ARTIST LIQUID MATTE (C$25.00 each for 0.08 oz/2.5 ml). Not a long ago this year Make Up For Ever launched the Artist Acrylips which I have been obsessed over the shiny and glossy texture of these lipsticks. Yet this time they have come up with the Artist Liquid Matte lipsticks which is a long-lasting liquid matte lipsticks. The collection comes in six highly pigmented neutral colors from light, pinkish nudes to deep chocolate-brown. As a nude lip lover, I was thrilled with the launch of this Matte lipstick. I was offered from the brand to pick three shades from the collection for reviewing purposes, so I pick the shades that were edgy and trendy. My pick includes:
- Rose wood 105 – is a dusty neutral pinkish rose shade, this is definitely one of the beautiful nude shades from the collection.
- Praline 109 – is one of my favorite from the collection, it’s a beautiful deep red nude. Some thing very edgy.
- Cold Pink 203 – is gorgeous pink nude with a cool under tone. It was my first time trying out a pink nude and I it has become my must have nude.
The texture is supper light with an ultra matte finish and comfortable wear. The formula is quite amazing by the fact that these are full coverage and very matte. It glides on beautifully on lips, leaving lips flawless without feeling dry at all. I loved the staying power, it stays for a very long period of time, I would say all day. I loved the fact that it doesn’t transfer or smudge once applied. The shades are wearable during the day and night. It comes in clear glass and with traditional sponge tip applicator.
I am nude lipstick lover for ever, and wearing different shades and colors of nude lipstick always makes me happy. I have a true love for these matte lipsticks, for their comfort and lasting power. There are not a huge selection of the shades and colors but I felt there is some thing to get a very edgy look for all skin colors and tones. The ARTIST LIQUID MATTE lipsticks are available exclusively at Sephora.
Many thank to Make Up For Ever for sending out the Artist Liquid Matte for review.
