Lancôme just introduced their first blurred matte lipstick line L’Absolu Rouge Intimatte. This is a lightweight matte lipstick that wears comfortably while it offers a soft finish. They are 18 shades of matte lipsticks and these are really phenomenal in terms of quality and formula. The color range is just beautiful ranging from soft nudes to some really nice mauves and reds.
If you been a Million Idole reader, you know I either don’t wear matte lipstick or if I do I like formulas that are more velvety and those that come with comfortable wear. Wearing a matte lipstick does require nice and smooth lips which I find hard to keep up with during the winter months. Yet I find this formula is quite hydrating and doesn’t emphasize dry patches and doesn’t feel dry on lips at all.
I love Lancome’s lipsticks for their quality and the range of colors they provide.
This formula has a blurring effect that gives that soft and nice focus finish. I received them in three beautiful shades that I can wear very easily.
- Killing Me Softly is a nice soft pink mauve that looks absolutely beautiful on lips for a pink nude lip look.
- Pleasure First a brick red shade that I love to wear during the fall and winter months.
- Kind of Sexy is a gorgeous plum mauve shade.
The pigment is quite amazing with a very soft and creamy feel that wears comfortably on lips. The formula is enriched with hemispherical filler that helps create a very unique finish to the lips that are not opaque. You can really spread out the lipstick all over the lips for a more full coverage finish while I like to dap it all over my lips and smooth it out with a brush for that blurred look.
Bottom line, its an absolute amazing formula. If you’re looking for a nice hydrating matte lipsticks with a blurring effect then this is a great option to look into.
