Giorgio Armani Beauty just launched Ecstasy Shine (C$43.00 each for 0.10 oz/ 3 g). These are highly moisturizing balm with a lipstick feel. This is my first time going over Armani Beauty’s products and this seems like they merged two formulas into one, such as regular balm and lipstick. These Ecstasy Shine comes in great range of colors and shades. The texture is moisturizing, smooth and feels just like lip balm with high shine. The pigment is transparent but buildable to a medium coverage if swipe it back and forth for couple of times. They feel light and doesn’t slip off the lips. I got my hands on three shades to play with:
- Play – is a beautiful hot red color.
- Naked – is a dusty rose nude shade which makes it a perfect every day nude.
- Crescendo – is a rose-pink color.
The Ecstasy Shine keeps the lips smooth and hydrated though out the day. My lips have been on dry side during this summer – these have kept my lips soft and smooth after wearing for the day. Lasting power is just as good as any other lip balm would last, reapplication is required after meals or drinks. They do fade after couple of hours and leaves a light stain on lips which adds a nice natural finish to the lips. These Ecstasy Shine carries a great range of bold and vampy shades as well as some nice nudes. I found all three shades are comfortably wearable on daily basis. You can definitely use a nice lip liner under to give the lips more definition and add more colors as well as lasting power.
Bottom line I have been in love with these Ecstasy Shine. The packaging is just exquisite, it carries a very luxuries and sleek look into it. I loved the packaging for its magnetic touch. All three colors are wearable and the formula is quite nice for its comfortable cream texture and high shine finish. As I mentioned this was my first time going over Giorgio Armani’s lipstick collection so I am not quite sure about other formulas from the brand, having said that I wont be able to compare the Ecstasy Shine. Just to mention it have been quite some time now that I got to try out lipstick that carries a balm like texture. There are three shades that are exclusive to Sephora which includes Bamboo, Wine and Sepia. You can find the Ecstasy Shine at Sephora, Nordstrom, and Giorgio Armani Beauty.
